We stopped by to visit someone and decided to eat. I moved here from Germany in 2003 and let me tell you in 23 yrs I have not had more of authentic German food here ever! The jรคger schnitzel is delicious, the spรคtzle are also very good. My husband had the cordon bleu which was almost really good!. I was amazed and baffled at the same timeโฆ def recommend! Allie the waitress is here is sweet and will take great care of you! Tip her well!

Biscuits were cold with warm gravy Baked potato was not cooked all the way still hard and pot roast was tough. Only selections they had for sides were potatoes cooked different ways and hush puppies When asked for a second round of hot tea they brought hot water with the same tea bag so weak tea other than that is was comfortable to sit.

Typically when we eat there the food is pretty good and so is the service. Wednesday 14 May we decided to go have breakfast there, and we had a different experience. We both had French toast, a scrambled egg and bacon. our waitress was horrible. the food was not hot, but room temperature, as if it was in a warmer. Our waitress was so impersonable, I don't understand why she was working as a waitress where a good disposition is needed. we 54ied talking to her, and she was very standoffish, very disinterested.

The Server was good, the food was terrible do not order the pizza or onion rings.
The pizza crust was a cross between a cracker and a dry hard biscuit. the topping on the pizza and the salad are from the omelet prep area, the pizza is run under heat just enough to melt the cheese but not cook the vegetables or heat the sauce underneath.
The onion rings; greasy, beer batter crossed with a pancake.The German chocolate cake, box cake with frosting out of a plastic tub.

We chose this restaurant because it was close to the haunted park we were going to. It really was the only thing close that wasnโt fast food. It was obvious the young lady waiting on us was new to the position. She had little knowledge about the menu and had a hard time checking us out when we went to pay the bill. It was my partner, myself and our 2 children, plus 2 friends of my oldest. They were out of lettuce, tomatoes and cod. So the salads myself and my daughter wanted were out of the question. The 2 friends decided to split a buffalo pizza, minus the blue cheese. Well, when the pizza came, it was covered in blue cheese. So they had to wait for another pizza which was literally a cracker crust with some chicken, cheese and buffalo sauce. They ate some just to be able to eat something. The only thing that was actually prepared correctly was the double cheese burger my youngest ordered. We spent almost $100 total for 6 people and the food was definitely not as good as the price tag, especially with the fact my sandwich was wrong and we had almost 2 pizzas just sitting on our table when we left because they couldnโt get it right. If youโre the only sit down restaurant owner in the Mauldraugh area, you should have higher standards. It was highly disappointing.
Kid-friendliness: Awesome with our kids and were very patient.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have more than one door with one being easily accessible from handicap parking.

Great home style cooking, with an endearing staff. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, and welcome. They're home-made desserts are fantastic as well. Also, very clean dining area and bathroom. I've past this place many times and decided to have lunch there today. Will definitely be back!

This little hide away was really good. I had the fried mushrooms, cheese burger and fries. The only down fall was the waitresses/bartender didn't know how to make a drink. Either way I'll come back to this place.
