I visited sited Log Still on a whim and am glad we did. It happened on a July Monday and it was slow, so the owner came over to the bar and chatted us up. We highly enjoyed it and learned a lot about the family history. We took home a bottle of Monks Road Rye and enjoy it. Log Still is completely unexpected. Try it!

The music events are a must. The Amp and Legacy are both beautiful . The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is close by and reasonable.

This is a hidden gem! I am hesitant to leave a review because it so awesome. I'm not a big bourbon fan but my husband is and we really enjoy coming here. I have booked 3 x. They have a great concert line up and highly recommend staying on the property for that event - makes it so easy. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is amazing! If you have a concern - they fix it! I live an hour and half from this location and it is a great weekend get away!

Pretty good tour by one of the Dant family members. The property was huge and beautifully kept. The tasting was great! We got to sample 2 gins and 4 whiskeys. Would recommend checking Log Still out if in the bardstown area.

5-Star Review – Log Still Distillery

Our visit to Log Still Distillery was an absolute highlight on our Bourbon Trail journey! From the moment we arrived, the beautifully maintained grounds and peaceful setting made us feel welcome and relaxed.

We were lucky to be part of a small group—just three of us—so the experience felt wonderfully personal, almost like a private VIP tour. Our guide was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and full of passion for the distillery’s young but inspiring story. She walked us through the bourbon-making process and gave us a fantastic tasting, explaining the many layers and flavors in each pour with real expertise.

Although Log Still is a smaller operation, it’s packed with charm and quality. The visitor center is a true architectural gem, shaped like a giant bourbon barrel, with a stylish bar inside and a cozy gift shop upstairs. From the terrace, you can enjoy a stunning view of the surrounding valley and the outdoor stage, where live music plays every weekend. It's the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere with a drink in hand.

And don’t miss the large event hall up on the hill—ideal for weddings, concerts, or special gatherings. This place has thought of everything and does it all with care, warmth, and style.

Highly recommended to anyone looking for a unique and memorable bourbon experience off the beaten path!

As a part of a group of Bourbon lovers we were Lucky to win a Barrel pick of Monks Road from Log Still. What a absolutely wonderful experience we were treated to. Michael our guide gave us a afternoon to remember. Touring the beautiful Log Still grounds and learning the history was fabulous. What they have done there with their facilities is second to none. Having visited most of the Bourbon distilleries in KY I can say Log Still might just be the best of them all. Our tasting and day at Log Still was tremendous and we appreciate very much the hospitality they showed us. And of course the Bourbon was excellent. Thank you again and we will be back soon

We recently completed a corporate event at Log Still. The facilities and the staff made our planning sessions seamless. They handled all the critical details allowing us to work and be productive. It was the perfect blend of work and reward for our team. The lodging and the food was first class and the bourdon education was great too! I highly recommend them if you have an important meeting coming up. Beautiful scenery and the perfect setting to bond with your team!

This is a great small Distillery. Michael was great. He gave us the history of the Distillery which is a very nice modern Distillery with a music venue.

Visited and toured earlier this week. Beautiful facility and campus. Michael did a great job sharing the very cool backstory about the history bringing Log Still into being. Great whiskeys and a really great Barrel finished / aged gin. We'll be back.

Beautiful facility & campus. They were not running while we were there and were which was a bit disappointing but Michael did a great job as our guide and was great. Highly recommend the short drive from Bardstown to their location. Good whiskeys and the Barrel finished gin was great as well!

Had a wonderful time tasting a flight of whiskey. They have a concert venue here. I can't wait to see a concert here.

Log Still Distillery is a craft distillery and is family owned. When my wife and I visited we were able to talk with one of the cousins and got lots of great history about the distillery and the surrounding area. Very well thought out blends and bottle designs. Absolutely worth a trip.

As we were driving to the distillery for our tasting, we received a phone call and they informed us that the majority of Nelson County was suffering from a power blackout and they had no power and it wasn’t expected back on for a few hours. They offered to reschedule our tasting, but unfortunately, we were booked for the next few days and could not reschedule. They said come on down. They would figure something out. We got there and, luckily, the tasting room has huge windows, so we have plenty of daylight, and we ended up having a wonderful tasting. Shea did an outstanding job of guiding us through the history of the distillery and the tasting of their offerings. Everyone was very friendly. And, halfway through the tasting, the power came back on. Oh, and the bourbon was pretty tasty to boot! I highly recommend visiting this distillery!

Good tour with a lot of information about the bourbon making process. Interesting to touch and taste the mash. If you have queer people in your group they do not make you feel welcome.
