Visited and toured earlier this week. Beautiful facility and campus. Michael did a great job sharing the very cool backstory about the history bringing Log Still into being. Great whiskeys and a really great Barrel finished / aged gin. We'll be back.
As we were driving to the distillery for our tasting, we received a phone call and they informed us that the majority of Nelson County was suffering from a power blackout and they had no power and it wasn’t expected back on for a few hours. They offered to reschedule our tasting, but unfortunately, we were booked for the next few days and could not reschedule. They said come on down. They would figure something out. We got there and, luckily, the tasting room has huge windows, so we have plenty of daylight, and we ended up having a wonderful tasting. Shea did an outstanding job of guiding us through the history of the distillery and the tasting of their offerings. Everyone was very friendly. And, halfway through the tasting, the power came back on. Oh, and the bourbon was pretty tasty to boot! I highly recommend visiting this distillery!
Good tour with a lot of information about the bourbon making process. Interesting to touch and taste the mash. If you have queer people in your group they do not make you feel welcome.
Our 2nd time visiting! Great place, and real nice people! Cindy was real nice and a we enjoyed the conversation! We will be back during concert season, a huge concert area with big name concerts! See you next year!
Ok Michael deserves shares in this company because he is so awesome! He spent time with us and answered our questions with intelligence and humor. He made us fabulous drinks too. Ask him about “Mary”. Thank you Michael!!
My top shelf drink Monk wheat bourbon disappointed not in the flavor or quality it was the quantity less than a sample for $13
It barely covered the bottom of the glass very disappointed the picture looks like there's more it was so bad that's why I took the picture and showed it to my buddy
The tour was very well put together & the bourbon sweet tea cocktail was delicious! A very cool (& different) distillery to stop at. Love that they have an option to stay on the property at one of their bed & breakfasts and/or rent out their venue & see concerts there.
This property is amazing! We had an amazing time. Shout out to Amy for the wonderful welcome, and thanks for staying late ❤️
Beautiful setting. We did the $45 whiskey and bourbon tasting at the bar. The bartender - I don't recall his name - but he's one of the "Cousins" was wonderful. We learned a lot and he patiently answered some of my beginner questions. Definitely worth a stop.
me. They were having a concert and a wedding so not only were we rush to leave, they didn't time the tour properly and we were rushed through the tasting. Our tour guide was nice, but lacked enthusiasm and it was like being at a mundane bookclub.
To add insult to injury, nothing in the tasting stood out or was impressive. It would've frankly been better if they just didn't book the tour given the circumstances.

After seeing all of the great reviews we decided we had to see Log Still too. The ground are beautiful. We did a tasting and the bar staff was knowledgeable, very helpful. I purchased two bottles of bourbon. Michael, our server, mentioned that Wally Dant was in the bar. Since we were celebrating my birthday, he introduced us to Wally and he signed both bottles. Needless to say we will be back.
We scheduled a tour and tasting and it was just my husband and I. So it felt like a private tour! Brandan was our guide and the dude is a wealth of knowledge - he gave us a run down of the lands history and all other fun facts (corn bread mafia!!). We got to taste a lot of different things and overall had a really fun time. Brendan - rock on man!
My husband already posted but I had to also! Thanks to our wonderful host, Shay for our awesome time at Log Still. Thank you Shay! We enjoyed our tour and it was great to hear the family history and learn so much from our visit. We fell in love with your Distillery!! It was such a great tour Shay gave us that day and we learned so much of the wonderful Dant family history. Wow to have grown up running around their on the property, that would have been a great childhood memory. They are doing amazing things at Log Still. Such a beautiful business to tour, learn about and the Ampa theater on-site is awesome! A must see to visit and tour if you are in Gethsemane, KY!
This was the best place we’ve been to today. The service is beyond excellent and the drinks are delicious and nicely priced. When you stop by you have to talk to Brendan, he’s a hoot!
My wife and I saw the sign on one of our drives around the area and decided to stop in. We are so glad we did. Thanks to our tour guide Shay, we had an amazing time. It was definitely the best tour of our week long vacation. Shay made us fall in love with the history of the site, and story of the family that started, and is now continuing the business of making great bourbons and spirits. The site is amazing and new, but the history is long and rich. Thanks Shay for making our visit so memorable!
