If you have a food allergy, do not waste your time going here. I stopped in last week wanting to order and take home 10-20 meals and I asked a very simple question: Are your frozen meals labeled for food allergies (i.e., dairy, wheat, nuts, etc.)? After a long pause and a bit of simmering both reps behind the counter said something to the effect of “We don’t label our meals for food allergies other than to list the ingredients on the package.” So, imagine trying to read through the ingredients for 10-15 different meals to figure out if the list of ingredients contains an item you’re allergic to. Avoid. UPDATE: The store manager reached out to me to inform me that their meals *are* marked for allergens, and apparently this is a training issue with their staff (at least the two that I spoke with) who didn't know their meals were marked. Still an issue, and I have not yet been back, but I will give them a try in the near future. Revising my review from 1 star to 3 stars until I pay them another visit.

I went to grab a take-out dinner here tonight with my 4 year old. The woman taking our order was so kind and friendly.
Unfortunately, we took our food right home and it was horrible quality. I don’t really ever leave food reviews, so it was really bad. I ordered a bowl and the gluten free chicken pieces were cold, the quinoa and kale base was freezing cold, the vegetables looked like they were dirty and placed in a microwave for 20 seconds. I could not eat it.
My 4 year old’s kids meal included an obviously old apple with yellow and brown spots and 4 small chicken bites that were also cold inside. I could not let her eat it.
This was a major bummer because we are always looking for places that are healthier alternatives on nights when cooking is not an option.

I really like this place and the healthy options and atmosphere, I went to ask for a little salt because my bowl was a little bland, they said they don’t use salt to cook. Ok, I can understand that, no problem, I asked if they have any as a condiment that I can just add myself and they said no, we don’t have any salt in the whole building, but they have pepper….huh!! So I would have given them a 5 but they have an odd prejudice against salt.

I absolutely love the food and experience I have every time I go into Clean Eatz Newport! The team there is incredibly friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They have great recommendations- You have to try the epic chicken wrap and bang bang shrimp! Soooo delicious!!

After using meal-to-door services (like HelloFresh, Blue Apron, etc.) for years, we decided to try the weekly meal plans from Clean Eatz, and I'm really glad we did! They've been a huge time (and energy!) saver, and we've enjoyed nearly every one we've had. We've also had their in-laws restaurant food and enjoyed that as well. If you're looking to make a transition into healthier eating but struggle to find the motivation, time, or energy to make the leap then I highly recommend you give this a try! (It's also surprisingly affordable, genuinely!)

I use clean eatz almost weekly. (Sometimes I stock for a few weeks at a time.) Their menu always has a great selection of offerings, the flavor of the meals is always fantastic, and the price is cheaper than going to the grocery store. I am always on the go and this is a great option to keep my meals on track and know I always have something to eat that’s healthy and quick. The meals freeze well and reheat well too. The staff at the Newport store is always friendly and the food is always super fresh. I recommend them to everyone I know.
