I really enjoy the Black and Blue burger, with couple of cold Corona beers.
Portions are not too large, neither too little, just perfect.
They do not serve food every day, so check out first in case you plan to eat. Otherwise go and have a drink and relax.
Great family place to chill out, watch a game in the patio. And, even have a cigar or cigarrert if others don't mind outside.
Servers are great, very friendly and fast even if the place is full.
We love it, one can have a conversation with friends in the patio, too.
Thank you.
Kid-friendliness: Some couples take their kids with them and all is just find.

Had a great time stopping here about an hour before close on a Tuesday. Everyone was cool and welcoming. See y'all again.
My wife and I just happened by Coaches Corner after finishing dinner at a neighboring restaurant. The staff were friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. The side patio was pretty big and had a band stand on one end. We spent about an hour listening to music.
The misses said she wanted to go back when we could stay longer.

If you’ve never been here please put it on your radar. The food is absolutely delicious! They serve food Monday thru Thursday from 4-8. The people that own it are precious. It is family owned with many regulars who make you feel like one too. On our second time in they remembered us. It’s 40 minute drive for us but we look forward to when we can go. Thank you Coaches for being you!
Perfect neighborhood bar. Thanks to Justin for welcoming us.
What a great little place! Small bar atmosphere with friendly faces. Easy on street parking as well as a small parking lot, fantastic food. I had the Beeb burger and the wife had the Reuben burger. Oh my goodness, just look up their menu and look at the toppings. Not too much that it falls apart but just right for holding and enjoying. The food is fantastically fresh and the ground beef is double ground for juiciness and freshness. If you are looking for a burger or a sandwich that will not disappoint, this is the place. 317 East 6th Street , Newport KY . Tuesday Thru Fridays open from 4-8 for the dining experience.

Went on a Saturday just for drinks. It was small and quaint. We all liked it. Nice patio with heaters and fire pit. We will return on a night when burgers are served. Heard they were awesome!

How many years have I wasted just driving by Coach's Corner? What a shame! Last night, for the first time, I spent the evening there for the 2nd annual tapping of the Edmund Fitzgerald keg. What a wonderful place to be! Seldom do the all the attributes of a good bar/restaurant converge in just one location. First, it's a family business and has been for 30+ years. Husband/wife team and kids run the place and they care about their customers---most of whom they know personally. Second, the pub fare of burgers and fries is fantabluous. I LOVE my burgers juicy and sloppy and they do it the best. Food is only served Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri from 4 to 8 pm and I suspect it's so the owners can get away for a 3-day weekend. After 30 years, how smart is that? Brilliant! Third, the beer selection (both on tap and in the can) are unparalleled for a smaller establishment like this. Fourth, prices are reasonable, unlike many bars/restaurants these days where you have to drive a Brink's truck there to pay for it. Finally, the overall ambiance is just delightful, whether you're outside (by the fire pit) or inside. Located in downtown Newport, but removed from the craziness of the levy, it doesn't get any better (free on street parking and lot parking, too). This is going to be one my new haunts.
