This was the absolute perfect day! I went to the aquarium and stumbled across these BOMB gyros. The food and service is absolutely insane, next time you’re in Newport, you should absolutely try the food here!!!

Nice location within the levee. Its a little cart with a nice view of the river and its never too crowded. Food still takes a while to come out though. Prices are reasonable given the huge portions they give. Fries are battered and taste great. I reccomend also their Gyro lamb wrap which isnt anything new flavor wise but is HUGE.

My son and I decided to go out exploring and stopped here. We got the gyro lamb wrap; my 8 year old said it was the best meal of our trip! We made no modifications to the ingredients; wrap was phenomenal! Staff was warm and friendly! We ate dinner looking out over the water on a super cold night; it doesn’t get any better than this!

Every time I order from here, my food is incorrect. Granted the lamb is good, the guys are really nice. However, when I am paying extra for sauce and order mediterranean fries and then get home and they are just normal fries and my gyros has nothing but just meat, absolutely no sauce on it. It’s becoming a problem. I spent $35 this last time. Severely disappointed to the point I won’t go back. Better off going across the river.
Yesterday I had my first Gyros! I had been wanting to, but wanted my base level for delicious to start at the best! I'll be back for that coffee! Thank you so much for amazing food and a welcoming and educational environment. Definitely worth the 5 hours we drove!

Okay, so I'm kinda biased here because I'm comparing this place's doner to the real deal I've had all over Europe, especially in Germany. The spices on the gyros-style lamb(off the spit) and chicken(not off of a spit) are alright. The sauce is just tzatziki, and I'm used to having three choices: curry, tzatziki, and spicy. I asked for spicy sauce and the guy gave me some hot sauce in a little cup. I've never had a doner in a burrito wrap, but that's how they do it here. Honestly, I was disappointed because I was hoping for something similar to what I've had overseas, but it was more like a burrito-gyros mashup. It wasn't bad, I ate it, but it just isn't a doner,especially with the burrito wrap.

Terrible food. Luke warm meat and an untoasted wrap, old ingredients. Limited choices of sauce, unauthentic. It's a Doner Kebab shop not Gyro. Gyros are Greek, not Turkish. Go elsewhere. Quick service though. Terrible atmosphere, the speakers for the sport on the giant tv were way too loud.
