As often as I'm in this plaza for a Target run, Kroger, Michael's or whatever else I'm taking care of, it's rarely been at a point after mid morning, so I've never had the chance to visit Flipdaddy's for lunch or dinner, until today.When I wrapped up with working from home for the day, I thought I'd take my dog out for a drive & to pick up some lunch. I ordered from their web site. While I was in the mood for a milkshake, which for some reason their Newport location doesn't offer, I went with their Mac Daddy burger with a side of sweet potato fries & a slice of lemon meringue pie. The burger was excellent - I wasn't sure how they'd negotiate a mac & cheese burger - I've had them before elsewhere where the mac is actually placed in a hollowed out bun. Here, it was placed on top & then secured in place by a topping of cheese. Very filling! I picked up my order at noon & haven't been hungry since. I would definitely return. Though with their online ordering you can't choose a future time for pickup. You place your order & they then send you a text confirmation that tells you it'll be ready in 20 minutes or whatever. They're open for takeout & delivery only right now because of precautions being taken around the Coronavirus - give them a try!

This review is being posted during the quarantine and I understand that many restaurants have had to change the way they operate to stay afloat but you still need to put out quality food or what's the point...? I'll start off with the good. We ordered the buffalo chicken dip to start and it was very good. I'm not usually a fan of bleu cheese but it worked well in the dip and the chips they provided where fresh and hot. This would be a 4* appetizer on its own. Now for the rest. It was pretty obvious they were cooking our food on a dirty grill. I got the bacon grilled cheese and my wife got a side of Mac n cheese. If you're not familiar with this Mac n cheese, it's tossed on the grill and then folded like an omelette. Both the toast on my sandwich and the skin on the Mac n cheese tasted like burnt grill scraps. If I closed my eyes and tried both I don't know if I would be able to tell you which was which. In addition to that my wife ordered the chicken tenders. 3 of them were perfect and the rest were over-fried until they were burnt and black. I don't know how you could serve that. Definitely will not be going back to Flipdaddy's.

Horrible. We've eaten at the restaurant before and had no issues but the delivery is the worst I've ever experienced. The arrived in a clear plastic trash bag. Seriously. The fries were not in a container, they were just everywhere. I was afraid to eat them, even if I could have due to how cold and rubbery they were. I wiped everything down with a Lysol wipe before touching it because whoever packed it clearly threw the food into a garbage bag with no regard to our health or quality of food. The chicken in my sandwich was so dry that I choked. My fiancee said his burger was alright, so.

I understand that these are difficult times, but our experience tonight was unacceptable. Placed an order for takeout and when we got home, we were missing our daughter's entire entree and a 3 dollar order of beer cheese. Called in and the server 'Yeah, our manager just told us that we're out of the shrimp.' When I asked why we weren't told this when we were at the restaurant picking up our food 20 minutes ago, or even better an hour ago when we placed the order, they said 'would you like to speak to the manager?' I said yes, of course, and was then passed to another server to go through the exact same conversation, before finally being transferred to a manager. I explained the situation once again and still received no apology, just a very blunt 'what do you want me to do?' The manager said that they would refund the entree to my credit card, so we'll see how long that takes.

Sat for 15 min at the bar before anyone noticed. As I was getting my items to leave, finally I'm guess the Manager came up. I asked for 4 different samples of beer that were on the tv and was out of everything. The bar smelled if mold. Food was beyond nasty. Went into the bathroom and it was so foul that I just held it.

Not very busy on a Friday afternoon. Bartender was pleasant. I had TBE Grilled cheese and bacon with fries. The fries were soggy and the bacon wasn't crispy. My husband had the peanut butter and jelly burger with sweet potato fries. He enjoyed his burger. The sweet potato fries were awesome! Next time I'll order them.

Today I was on the fence on whether I wanted a lunch date as I'm treating my car so I'm a bit of a mess but hell the virus is going to get us all and I'm sure they must have some of the TP that keeps disappearing haha so we went... It was everything I wanted -- and honestly- if I had this experience every time we went out then our monthly budget would be sky high. Everything went smoothly and today it is all credit to our waitress Kyle B. And also some pretty awesome burgers. She was there to help with great recommendations and when there was a slight issue it was just fixed.. no meetings with managers, etc.. just a smart waitress taking ownership of a simple problem.. THANK YOU.. also, super friendly and knew when to be there and when not to be. Honestly, the nicest lunch out we have had in a while... we were able to talk because everything went smoothly..we needed that... really great service! When I read reviews I prefer to see pictures so I always try and remember to take pictures but today I have none as it was the furthest thing from my mind. And typically I won't even post a review without pics but this waitress was this good and the burgers were amazing. She was right that the vegetarian burger my husband got doesn't taste vegetarian- he really enjoyed it! I got the Swiss, mushroom burger and it was perfection! On the pretzel bun... my husband had a few bites and awesome loved it... The fries were awesome as well.. Thank you.

Very glad that I got the chance to try this place. Everything was delicious.. My only gripe is being sat surrounded by tables that all had between 2 and 4 children under the age of 10. Not the restaurant's fault, and we could have asked to move, so I won't take off any points. Kind of expected to be a lot less families with small children considering it is not a cheap place to dine. Overall - very good food and I hope to come back soon.

At the moment you come to this restaurant the stuff gives you a good feeling. Very courteous stuff, it is a friendly restaurant to hang out with friends or with your date. heavenly cuisine, talented chef, comfortable cost and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Average burgers, service was ridiculous, table leaned to one dude and had food stuck on wall that I was sitting at ..burgers took 45 min to get and wasn’t even busy... desert was average, and was out of some items on menu .. wouldn’t go back

Previously I went back repeatedly solely for the onion rings - they were hand breaded and delicious, crispy even when heated up the next day. They were incredible... Today I received reheated clearly frozen onion rings We're in a fight flip daddy I will not return until the ring fiasco is remedied
