It was difficult to eat here as a vegetarian (unless you eat snacky stuff— the pretzel and potato cake was amazing). Ultimately, I came here for family. It was lively, great service and tasty. Honestly, I would be even happier if they had a vegetarian version of their mushroom or Queen City spatzle because it was way more flavorful than the buttered one. 5/5 for the overall experience.

Despite a twice confirmed reservation made over the phone two month ago, our group of 6 was seated at probably the worst spot in the entire room. Half of the tables were empty, so why we were placed at the front where all the foot traffic passes, is a mystery. The hostesses had a difficult time understanding that we would prefer something on the other side of the room away from foot traffic, in the midst of the fun, and near the music. They just kept telling me where we couldn’t go and my request was nowhere near that area. Very frustrating. Thankfully, once seated at an improved table, service and food, atmosphere and music was great.

You gotta give this place five for enthusiasm and…honesty. The beef sausages all have pork said my waitress. Ok then. I’m sure I’ll survive. The band- a hard working duet - have programmed everything from German to Neil Diamond to big band Glen Miller (including the trombone solo!) into the accordion, accompanied by a polite drummer. They played over the course of six hours on the day I came. Hysterical and fun and kinda amazing. They are singing Sweet Caroline some local version that hollers out So good So good So good… hokey sure but… l All that and spatzle too. The food was good, the waitress was nice. We ain’t got nothin like this in New Orleans.

Lovely spot, great food and great beer. What more could you want from a Biergarten? 😊

Had the bratwust, mettwurst, and bierwurst with mashed potatoes. All of the sausages were bland. No flavor. The mashed potatoes were good, but they were barely warm and the portion size qwas small. I paid too much for subpar food.

A wide range of German inspired meals. Tasty and large portions. I liked the variety of textures and flavors, crunchy and saucy, sour and sweet.

Very poor management. Outside seating says see hostess. However, the hostess is inside, but not indication that you NEED TO GO INSIDE. So you wait and wait until you flag a waitress down. Very disappointed in the overall experience . Will not return.

This is not the place you go for quality food. Everything is basic, bland, and boring. It is an interesting building though, because it’s laid out in a German Beer Hall style, but that’s it.
I would take guests in to see it and maybe have a beer, but never for food.
