Not only was there a fabulous selection of bourbon, but the Newberrys were so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. I learned more about the history of bourbon in my few hours at this establishment than I have in all the tours and tastings I've done. We will definitely be coming back!

The selection is unlike anything you’ll ever find. That being said, the prices are WAY over the top, it’s rarely open, and the attitude from the owners is less than ideal. If you want to find a rare bourbon, I would totally recommend this place, but otherwise I would go elsewhere. Perfect place to bring an out of town guest. Not ideal for a regular Friday night if you’re local.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. We sat on the patio and ordered several cocktails, along with a charcuterie board (which was out of this world!).The bread and muffins on the charcuterie board are all made in house. The service was outstanding. This was a true experience where we felt so very welcome. This was our first time here, but certainly not our last. 100% recommend.

Just checked this place out for the first time, and it may very well be my favorite bourbon bar in the city. Very cool setup with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very welcoming crowd and the staff/ownership is INCREDIBLE. 12/10 would recommend!!

Kim, Pete, and Ellen are awesome!! Have never seen a bourbon selection like this in North America. It was a pure adventure for our weekend, and we enjoyed it so much on Friday we came back Saturday! Don’t miss this place and be sure to get the charcuterie board to go with your favorite drink!

So much fun! We visited the Prohibition Bourbon Bar and had such a great time. The owners, Kim and Peter, made us feel at home right away. They have 6,312 bourbons, and Peter is a wealth of knowledge about bourbons and the state of Kentucky – not to mention wine. We told him what we liked and he recommended options we had never had before – all of which were perfect picks. If you enjoy bourbon, cocktails, or wine, this is a must-visit! They also have a bakery ... OMG we had a mini-cheese croissant, and it was up there with the best we have ever had ... Can't wait to try the coffee, if it's even close to as good as everything else, it will be amazing!
