I really wanted to love this place based off the history, but it fell short. We were there on a Thursday evening and the wait time for our food was about 80 minutes. I didn't find the food flavorful or special. Lastly, the bathrooms and kitchen were dirty in an unacceptable way. All things that could and should be fixed for such a historic Cincinnati establishment.

Upon arrival they served my significant other and I bread that wasn’t toasted or crisp. It’s a similar bread that you could purchase at Wal Mart. The chicken alfredo was very bland and not seasoned well. The salad wasn’t appetizing due to the croissants 🤢 being damp and terrible in taste.
The servers and workers were on top of the refills and great at point of service. Great environment and location but the food I would not recommend.

Was in town for the weekend and stumbled upon Pompilios. We were pleasantly suprised how good our meals were! The homemade Italian dressing was one of the best I’ve had.

We've been here once before and it was good (we liked everything), however, tonight was absolutely amazing! Paityn was completely wonderful, the food was beyond on point (I work in kitchens and real recognizes real lol). Soooo incredibly wonderful, thank you all so much!

Love this place. Do not get here as much as we would like do to traffic issues. Have to plan an early dinner for this reason.
Parking: Few parking places in lot. Does have street parking but hard to find close spots.

Been to this little jem numerous times since we discovered while visiting the area a few years ago. Everytime we come back we visit again. With that being said I believe an accurate review is due.
The food - great. Service - good. Atmosphere - good. Prices - decent/competitive.
First time here we did have a wait however it was only 15 minutes wait after being quoted 45 minutes. The last couple times there was no wait.
I normally go for the chicken Cacciatore as it is a long time favorite for me stemming from childhood. However, we arrived during lunch and that's not on the lunch menu. So I had to try something new. Instead of being a horrible person and complaining about not being able to order my favorite, I embraced the moment and saw opportunity to try something new. Chicken Ronaldo was the route I went. I am no olive fan which this dish features and I must say I enjoyed it all!
If you seek Italian and are in the area I highly recommend this family owned business. The food is epic.

This is a very neat place to visit. The service was great the food was delicious, not to mention the historical nature of this place. Several movies were filmed here many celebrities visited this place. Definitely a destination place.

Food was good, for basic Italian (tasty but everything tastes the same and is Lathered in sauce). However, I ordered a house coffee after my meal and the bartender said she'd have to check if they still had coffee, that they might have thrown it out, as it was close to closing. I worked in the industry for many years, you provide the same experience to all diners, regardless of whether they are the first or last diner of the night. She brought it out, it was stone cold, and had no whipped cream. If you can't do it right, you shouldn't do it, she should have said we don't have coffee but charging me for an expensive coffee drink that was terrible is not acceptable. I did not complain as I did not want to embarrass the person I was dining with. Thumbs down.
