Who would have known while traveling from out of state and making a simple reservation via text, my husband and I, along with another couple, would stumble upon this amazing bar and end up friends with the owners by the end of the evening. Pete and Kim were so very warm and welcoming. Their bottle collection of bourbon was beyond impressive. Pete’s vast knowledge of the history of the area and bourbon in general was outstanding. Definitely get the brownies. We had such an amazing evening, we returned the next night for a second visit, and had just as awesome of an experience. The servers were so warm and friendly as well. The charcuterie was fabulous. Do yourself a favor and try this place out!

This place is simply the best! Pete, Kim, & the rest of the staff are so friendly. Pete has so much knowledge he’s willing to share about bourbon in general and the local area in particular. Needless to say the selection of bourbons is unreal. Literally almost anything you want from Jim Beam White to all the Pappy’s, Willet Purple Tops, and everything in between. Don’t sleep on the food either. The brownies & charcuterie board are also both amazing.

Prohibition Bourbon Bar is, hands down, a must visit. Totally unparalleled, and was the highlight of our trip - so much so that we canceled other plans to make sure we could return for a second night. Kim and Pete are two of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, and their staff is just as lovely. Their bourbon knowledge and selection simply cannot be beat, the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful, and the conversations we were able to enjoy with Pete, Kim, the waitresses, and even some of their regulars we were introduced to makes me sad we’re too far away to be regulars. Oh, and make sure you ask about their coffee and baked goods - Pete’s brownies? Out of this world!
Kim & Peter are great. They provide an amazing atmosphere and the biggest bourbon selection in the area. This is a must stop!

I love this place. The selection is wonderful. Pete, Kim and the staff are wonderful people. Reservations are needed for staffing purposes and understandable. Call ahead; they are great at getting back to you. A great experience every time. My only beef is one most people will disagree with me about: Every time I'm there, there's a lot of Frank Sinatra in the background. I get it, Rat Pack etc., Not a fan of his. Mix it up a little bit. Can't wait to go back.
