Nasu is a very good hibachi restaurant. I say that because hibachi is typically why we go there. We did not have a great experience with the hostesses. They really don't have an area where you can wait, and on busy nights, the area near the hostess stand can become crowded. They also don't want guests under 21 to go and stand in the bar, so guests are left with no where to stand and wait, except right near the hostess stand. So, if you are going to bring your family and your family includes children, plan on the staff being rude and telling where you can't stand instead of proving you a place to wait comfortably for your table. The reason I go on with this is because we had a terrible experience with both the young ladies working at the hostess stand who were hell-bent on getting us to move. We were there on a Monday night, and there was no one else in the reception area!!! There was no need to be bossy and rude because hardly anybody was in the restaurant yet. Sadly, this is poor restaurant design and poor training on how to treat guests. We did make it to the hibachi. We did have a nice dining experience. The service was slow, but the food was good. Wish I had a better report, but these are the facts...
Asked for a reservation for 11, and only had 10 seats for us. Put in a chair in the very corner and the whole party was shifting around trying to make everyone fit.

We had a really great time. We were celebrating hubby's birthday. The atmosphere was great. Service was great and our cook was top notch. He almost gave me a heart attack but it was all in fun. Lol. The alcoholic drink choices weren't too impressive to me. The food is always so good. They have a great selection for sushi options. They have a lot of hibachi choices too. The price is typical of a hibachi restaurant. I suggest making reservations as they are always full if you do walk-ins(at least Everytime we go and are walk-ins) Everything was amazing. He had a great night and so did everyone else.Parking: The lot for the restaurant is somewhat small but it's in a shopping center so there is more parking behind the restaurant. You just have to take a short walk.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu. Our son is 11 and eats like an adult so this doesn't apply to us. But they have something for everyone and the environment is kid friendly.

Bartender was sweet, Food was great. We arrived towards the end of the night and the grill chef still put on a show. Staff was very attentive. Price point was nice.

The customer service has changed after driving for 55 minutes to pick up my takeout. I found that half. My meal was not in the bag and only two of my items were correct if it happens once I ignore it but if it happens twice I really Can’t trust it no more Plus, I can’t get through to them when I try to call from my phone so it makes it very difficult to communicate this to them.
