Went to Shiners at 7:30 on a Saturday night in April and it was busy but not overly crowded. It was a nice evening so we chose to sit outside on the patio. Wait staff seemed extremely disorganized. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks and an hour and fifteen minutes to finally get our food. Asked for salt which we never got. Had to ask twice to get the BBQ sauce. Then had to go physically search for our waitress just to pay the bill. The food was ok nothing spectacular. Will probably choose somewhere else next time.Parking: You have to use a pay lot or garage. No parking for restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They did have a kids menu and outdoor games.

It's such a great place ! Delicious smoked food, great friendly service. And the atmosphere is so much fun!
The food was awesome however the service left much to be desired. Made a reservation on Open Table for our party of 7, they acted surprised that we were there after we had stood there for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. Took 15 minutes to clear a table. Food took a while to come to our table which normally isn’t a big deal but one person in our party didn’t get theirs until 10 minutes after everyone else’s was there. Ordered desserts and that took 20-30 minutes to show up. Overall was there for close to 2.5 hours. Food was great but the wait so long for everything and having to flag someone down because we were always missing something made it not worth it.

We my have had an unusual experience being St Patrick's day but some regular menu items that we went there to try weren't available. There were only a few other people there with the DJ playing loud. Wait staff was great. If the full menu was available, probably would have been much better.
