Second time here. Second bartender here. Super unimpressed. Should call it "Aloof" not "Aloft". Get over yourselves. It's just drinks at a hotel. Smile, be polite and do your job. It really isn't hard.

We stayed at the Aloft Hotel and popped down for a drink (or few). The bartender was super friendly and was the reason we stayed for more than one drink. She gave us suggestions of places to go to in the area and she knew how to make a great old fashioned. The lounge area has such a comfortable and cool vibe to it, with a pool table nearby. Our stay at the Aloft was definitely enhanced by having such a nice, convenient bar just an elevator ride away.

Bar is right inside the lobby of the Aloft Newport on the Levee. Had a good selection of alcohol. Happy Hour was 4-6. Had a sweet bartender named Sako. Very helpful.

Such a nice and clean please! The bartender was very nice and pleasant! Good prices on alcohol, good selection as well. Nice fire pits on the patio!

My family and I came to stay at the Aloft and thought we'd try the bar downstairs. It was a very elegant bar with a wide variety of drinks (including the hard to find bourbon, Pappy Van Winkle). I got a cosmo which our bartender Brittany did an amazing job with (she also gave me the recipe and was really good for conversation). My dad tried the 12 year old Pappy (delicious and a decent price) and my mom got a whiskey. There were a couple other guests at the bar, a few couples and some other hotel guests, and it was nice to just sit and talk. There were also a variety of games to play, we leaned toward pool, but if Jenga was more your style, there was an outdoor deck with giant Jenga and a fire pit. TLDR: The service was fast, the drinks great, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

What a great place to unwind! The staff are very friendly. Lots of TVs and a pool table. They have outdoor seating which is a nice area to hang out. They have a big selection of drinks. They are working on a new food menu but there is an area to purchase snacks if you need something to go with your drink! They also have live music. I can't wait to come back!

Well I guess I'll be the first one to review the bar at Aloft Hotel, right next to Aqua on the levee apartments. The bartender was friendly, that's about the only positive unfortunately. We looked up this place online and their website said they had food, after asking for a drink menu we asked if we could see a food menu and were told they didn't have food....confusing?? So we just ordered a couple of their specialty cocktails, all I can say is never order the "spa water" unless you want a drink that basically tastes like straight up lime juice. And this was a drink that was supposed have gin with cucumber and soda water. Literally the worst cocktail I've ever tasted. My fiancé took about two sips before she couldn't stomach anymore, I finished my "new fashioned" which was ok. I'd recommend sticking to either beer or wine when visiting this bar!
