“Daughter and granddaughter and I went there a couple weeks ago. Owners are wonderful telling us about the new items not on menu which is what we ordered and Loved the two sushi rolls one was the wildcats and the other was just as good can’t think of its name but can’t wait to go back 5🌟“

“My husband and I love eating at Mikato. We have a consistently great experience every single time. We especially love the house ginger salad, Pork Gyoza appetizer, spicy bulgogi, and the sushi (best sushi in Owensboro in my opinion). The hot green tea is served in an adorable little tea kettle. On top of serving amazing food, the staff are wonderful and delightful. Highly recommend Mikato!“

“One of my favorite Asian restaurants in town. Nice staff, quiet and low-key, and very consistent quality when it comes to the food. Portions are always the same—large—and the food is always hot. If I want to go out for Asian, PanAsia is my go-to.

“We absolutely love the food here, we’ve been here many times and always love the food and service!! However, the restrooms could use some attention, extra cleaning and paper towels!! I’m not the only one that hates hand dryers, get your hands nice and clean and dried off and then you have to touch the faucets to turn off the water ? (or leave it running like some folks do). Please get some paper towels and clean up the restrooms, other than that we love Wasabi 54!!!“

“Me and my entire family are regulars here, whether were all together or by ourselves, we love coming here for their fresh sushi. For a while the service failed in all aspects, but seems theyve improved miles beyond what they used to be. My last 2 experiences were consistently great so that prompted me to change my previously unfavorable review. My server was attentive and kind as well as the host and sushi chef(we always sit at the sushi bar since thats all we ever order). This is a great change and hopefully customers will start to come back to this place now that the service matches the amazing food.“

“Convenient little Japanese place to grab some sushi, hibachi, or other similar cuisine. The prices are very fair and the quality of food far exceeds the price. I’ll usually get a different style roll every time and it’s always of good quality. The service has always been good and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual and clean. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for Japanese for lunch & dinner time.“
