We got a cook who we haven’t had before with a tattoo around his right forearm (I didn’t get his name) and he was absolutely awesome. We had been a couple other times within the past year and weren’t particularly crazy about our experience but this time the food and experience was amazing. That guy deserves a raise.
Very minimal and basic vegetarian options on the menu. We ordered the only 2 veg sushi rolls and they were good but not $12 apiece good.
Our server was attentive and friendly; however, many of the staff were just sitting around and not doing anything.
The entire restaurant had a sticky film over it - every seat, table, wall, door, fixture - making it feel tired and a bit dirty. Lots of dust and fruit fly traps too.
Overall, just meh. Nothing to write home about.
