I had a craving for a good bagel and cream cheese recently while traveling. Sadly, I couldn't find what I was wanting. I come home to Owensboro and remembered we had our own New York style bagel shop! I have tried Libertalia coffee before (which is fantastic) but never their bagels. Oh my gosh! I ordered the French toast bagel with plain cream cheese. I know this order doesn't sound exciting, but, WOW. You know that first bite of something so delicious you have to close...
Everytime I come here, I leave happy. The coffee is great, and so are the bagels! Holly helped me out this last time I went, and she was so sweet. The only note I have is that I'll ask for less cream cheese next time I go. But, I'm thankful that they put a good amount for the price!
I had an amazing experience with the Barista named Joe! He was able to analyze my palette and prepare an incredible drink for me (Maple Bourbon Latte). The sandwich I had was affordable and delicious (The Long Islander). If you’re in Owensboro this is an awesome local place to hit up!
