My family eats here at least once a week. Obviously with Covid we have gone to pick-up only. The entire menu is great. One of the best places in Owensboro!

Mi Ranchito is better than anyone else in town. That's all I have. Food is always 10/10. Salsa is goated. Also, if you have the time visit their 2nd location by Donatos on Parrish Ave. for that GOOD good.

Mi Ranchito is my go to place for mexican in Owensboro. Little hole in the wall restaurant but it is amazing. They have the best margaritas in town. Not too sweet like most of the premix stuff you get other places. They also have very good salsa and are super friendly. Definitely recommend!

The service was fast and friendly. My chili relleno was good. The other two items weren't that great. The ground beef reminded me a bit of hot dog chili. They make a good, if somewhat bland queso dip.
Great food , service sometimes not so much . Depending on who your waiter /waitress is .. but always seem to return for that food .

This is NOT a sit down, get chips and salsa, entree microwaved kind of Mexican restaurant. What it is .....is authentic Mexican. You order your food at the counter. The guy behind the counter was very helpful in answering our questions about the menu items. I had the chicken covered in mole sauce. I've had mole sauce from many other Mexican restaurants, and this is among the best. Just the right combination of sweetness and subtle heat. The chicken was moist and very tender. My wife and I sampled the tamale wrapped in a banana leaf. The cornmeal dough had good flavor and consistency. Even though the meat was tasty, there could have been a bit more in the tamale. Service was prompt and effective.
