We were very happy with the breakfast buffet. They had wonderful biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs and bacon. They also had a salad bar that my kids enjoyed. The prices were very reasonable and we left very happy.

I visited Windy Hollow for the first time with my parents (after seeing a reel about it on Facebook) on a Friday morning around 9am. The restaurant had a cute vibe like Cracker Barrel (even overpriced candy and toys) but the breakfast buffet and service was extremely lacking. The buffet had basically no food, ketchup was in packets and the jam was in an open container for anyone to use. We saw several people walk out after seeing what little the buffet had to offer and honestly we should have done the same thing. The cost for 3 buffets and two coffees was $47! We could have gone to Dennys, Ole South BBQ or even Cracker Barrel for the same price or cheaper even. I totally understand wanting to support a local business, but when that business has nothing to offer, what's the point. I would not recommend this place for breakfast and we will not be coming back.

This restaurant has a cute store in the front where you can shop trinkets and Kentucky souvenirs. The food was good ! The breakfast is your typical southern style. Where this place felt short was on the service. The meal took a while and our food order was wrong.

AMAZING FOOD! If you want home cooked breakfast but on a buffet, this is your place. They have a large menu to choose from if a buffet isn't your style. I will say the food goes so fast on the buffet it's always super fresh. This is now our new go to breakfast restaurant. Oh they also have a gift shop to explore while you wait for your table.

dont burn the biscuts, send the full order and dont be so stingy on the gravy.

Over half our order was wrong or missing on DoorDash. What food we did get was good but it’s unfortunate that we weren’t able to try everything we wanted.

Found this gem on doordash! Best melt in your mouth biscuits i’ve ever had and the sausage gravy is amazing!!! Will definitely be ordering again and visiting the diner in person here soon!

There's always more fresh food coming out of the kitchen, the staff is consistently friendly and personable. There is cool history to look at everywhere, and the in-store shop has super neat items for gifts and novelties. And no other restaurants in town do what these folks do for Thanksgiving

We went for the Wednesday buffet. It was terrible. What little there was on the buffet looked like it had been there for hours. The service was slow. None of the employees acted like they were interested in the customers. Will not be back.
