They could do with air conditioning in the summer but the bbq nachos and brisket are on point. Even took them a brisket I purchased elsewhere to have them cook it for me for about half price.

We've driven by this place countless number of times and thought we'd give it a try. I had the brisket plate with potato salad and hashbrown casserole. The brisket had just a hint of smoke flavor and taste more like pot roast, but with less flavor. The sides taste like they were store bought. They don't have true BBQ sides like greens, Mac n cheese or fried okra. Wasn't impressed and they are way too expensive. Two brisket plates were $49 and that was without drinks. And then you had to listen to a TV station bashing President Trump. You're political views should never mix with business. Maybe that's why we were the only ones there at noon. We won't be back. Very disappointed but you don't know until you try it.

Susan and I both enjoyed the generous portions of our pulled pork plates. The service was spot on. For desert Susan had pecan pie, while I went for the chess pie with a scoop of ice cream on top. Lip smacking delicious! This spot never fails to put a smile on our faces. We recommend it for anyone.

Limited menu options. Food was below expectations. Not even toast or a roll, just a piece of store white bread. Barbecue was both plain and burnt. We came in when they weren't busy at all, and the guy who took our order was still busy.

I met the owner, great guy. Love the story. Many generations of a great product. The food was great, cooked to perfection. It had just a little to much of a vineger base BBQ sauce for my liking. The sides were awesome.
