Limited menu options. Food was below expectations. Not even toast or a roll, just a piece of store white bread. Barbecue was both plain and burnt. We came in when they weren't busy at all, and the guy who took our order was still busy.

I met the owner, great guy. Love the story. Many generations of a great product. The food was great, cooked to perfection. It had just a little to much of a vineger base BBQ sauce for my liking. The sides were awesome.

I was in the area for business and stopped in for dinner. I ordered the ribs and oh my word they are amazing! Great flavor and fall off the bone!! The dinner came with two sides and bread. I chose hash brown casserole and baked beans. Both were really good. Highly recommend stopping by this restaurant if you're in the area.

I'm furious!!! My family came in today and ate. The sandwich was just a bit different than normal for what ever reason and they told a employee and the employee told them they wasn't getting anything else, to leave and never come back!!! Ya'll are very lucky I wasn't with them and I don't care who sees this review!!! When a freaking sandwich was just a little different n simply said something just to let ya'll k know and wasn't mean and they tell them they wasn't getting anything else, and to leave and never come back was RIDICULOUS!!! They are older and don't know how to leave a review so I'm doing it for them. I've never ate there and won't know after this and I'm gonna share and let people know how you treat people!!! I hope you lose business over this!!!

If you’re looking for a restaurant that has expensive pork sandwiches, corn flake hash browns, grease filled buns, with no seasoning , just go to Backwoods Bar—be-que. Four sandwiches, four drinks, side of baked beans, and hash browns for the expensive price of $54 and the owner after knowing you couldn’t offer a discount in order to make things right and ensure that you come back.

This place has turned into a joke..I called in an order. I specifically asked for 2 BBQ pullednpork sandwich plates, even asked do they come with 2 sides..guy says yes, what would you like. I said hashbrown casserole and baked beans, both the same. I also need a pound of pulled pork please. He said it would be 15 minutes. I got there in 20..waited another 15 after I got there. Was charged $39..and only got 1 side of casserole and 1 side of beans. The guy didn't hear me say 2..nor did he tell me over the phone a sandwich plate is all A la cart, that's why it was so expensive. If I had said BBQ plate it would have come with 2 sides and bread for $14. Instead I paid $14 for a sandwich, 3.50 for beans and 3.50 for casserole. So because he put the meat between the bread instead of bread just on the plate, it cost more. Never and I mean never again..got food there because it was convenient..because the food is mediocre, at best.

I love backwoods bbq but after spending $41 and getting enough to make 4 sandwiches and some potato salad I will probably not be going back anytime soon. I get it things are not cheap right now but this is ridiculous.
