Had a great breakfast here, Oct. 15, 2024. The waitress, Rachel took good care of us. Large brkft menu, my omelette was super delish, decent gravy for the fresh biscuits. Love the atmosphere, reminiscent of a diner from the fifties. Was going to have the buffet at a nearby hotel, which I won’t name but the initials are H Inn. Pitiful buffet was the only option, very glad we took the four minutes to get to the Gold Rush Cafe

The breakfast was just OK. But the restaurant had a really bad smell, especially in the back room on the way to the bathrooms. The smell made the dining experience much less enjoyable.

A great breakfast / brunch spot when you are downtown Paducah. I enjoyed the Billy the kid & my little one loved the kiddo waffles. Food was good, service was very friendly. It is a small space inside where you feel very close to neighboring tables.

I was in town, and this Cafe was recommended. You must go! Service was awesome, although it was very busy. You must try the Bannana Pudding Waffles. It's one of the best foods I've ever had. Give it a try.

We are never disappointed here. The breakfast is so awesome and the lunch is never disappointing. Ask for Rachel, she's a great waitress with a fun personality.
The atmosphere is very cheerful and welcoming, I had to use the restroom and as you can see by my first attached photo, all are accommodated. Then upon entry into what you first think is a meager diner bathroom , the awards and accolades of past patrons adorn the inside of the door.
See attached picture #2. So if you are dining here, I can vouch personally, the 1st bathroom on the right apparently has a fan following.
Have fun and enjoy Gold Rush.
Update: 8/23/24...still great! Rachel's mom was our waitress today... She's great too.
Give them a shout and get the ”Big Dalton” ...betcha can't eat it all.

I ate here a couple weeks ago and the food was amazing. My mom said it was the best breakfast she’s had in a while. The younger server girl was so friendly and helped me get the right orders for us both. Highly recommend.

I love this this place, hands down the best breakfast I have had in a long time. The bread pudding waffles are amazing by themselves but when you eat them with that maple butter they are phenomenal!!! Great food and great atmosphere!
