On February 8 I was suppose to pick up a cookie cake for my boyfriends family for his grandmother. We have been doing this for over 8 years. My experience this time was very unprofessional and I'm very disappointed with how we were treated. My boyfriend ordered the cake on the 7th when we arrived to pick it up. We got 3 different excuses on why we didn't have a cake. The worker then proceeds to ask me what the cake said after telling her she seemed to check every cake but yet still informed me that No cake was available to us. This ruined the whole celebration for his family time was wasted no cake for a birthday party. This was and is unacceptable and so unprofessional. After leaving the company and going to try to celebrate under the circumstances. The worker calls and tells him the cake was there and yet another excuse was made. After the party was now over. I have tried calling everyday to speak with a manager they continue to tell me one is not available. This was not right and this could be the last time we get to celebrate and it was ruined. No apologies just dismissed the situation with no empathy or true customer service.

If you need cookies for a special occasion, don’t waste your time on those other bakeries that need a weeks notice to make anything special for you. I should’ve called Melanie (Manager of Great American Cookies) first. She was able to accommodate my need for 2 dozen specially decorated cookies with just 24 hours notice. Now that is great customer service! And the cookies are perfect for what we needed and THEY ARE DELICIOUS. Thank you Melanie and all of your employees at your bakery!

I'm a little disappointed in my experience with Great American Cookies. When I approached the counter to order the lady who took my order plopped the cookies on the counter like I was an inconvenience. Yelled out my total, took my card and ran it through, gave it back and did not say another word. Went over to her food and took a nice giant bite. I had to ask if I was ok to leave. Perhaps she hangry but I know she can smile and have a nice conversation becuase I saw her interact wonderfully with the person before me.

Just watched an unmasked worker eat a cookie, lick her fingers,, play with her hair and handle customers cookies with no gloves.
Today our daughter turned 10. It was a tough birthday because we could not have a traditional birthday party. We picked up our cookie cake and just as it made it home it was dropped. The amazing staff at GAC had a replacement ready in a few hours! Thank you to those who helped save our girls day!

Typically every time I order a cookie cake it is always delicious!! But I placed an online order to pick up a cake for a birthday and when I ate a piece of the cookie maybe an hour after I picked it up, it was dry and not good. Highly dissatisfied with how it tasted especially since it was a special pick up order and not bought on the spot. The employees had time to prepare this cake to be its absolute best and it turned out very dry and not the tasteful cookie cake I’m use to. I’ll definitely rethink ordering one in the future after spending $30 on a cake that was not good.
