Stood at the bar for over 30 minutes to not be waited on but told by the bartender “patience is a virtue.” There were maybe 8 people seated at the bar total. My group left as well as two ladies who were seated near where the bartender made that comment.

Stopped in after work to catch a little karaoke and some cocktails. What a great place! People were friendly, drinks were great, bartenders were awesome!!! I'd you haven't been,, I totally recommend it!!!

Went there late Halloween night. There was a band playing, and they were pretty good. DJ style music after they were done. Staff was rude and didn't really care to provide a respectable level of customer service. Mostly college age crowd.

Been coming here for a couple years when I was in town. The space is super cute and they have some great cocktails. However, when they have a band, apparently the new owners crank it up way too loud for this space. It makes it hard to socialize and honestly the bands sound like crap.
Suggest an audio engineer help them get it right do their space and it could be Paducah a 5 star bar.

Awful experience here. I would give a negative review if I could. We had traveled from out of town to have our wedding in Paducah. After our wedding we decided to come to the Johnson bar (we brought 10-15 people). A man who worked here approached us and was extremely rude. We left. I understand your policy, but I don’t understand your customer service. RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL.
We come here when we travel in town with our friends. You’ve lost all of our business.

I went to this facility that had a posted closing time of 1am. I arrived at midnight and was told through the door: “We are closed.”. - A bit of a disappointment after a 30 mile drive. - I went across the street to the “Silver Dollar” or something similar and grabbed my nightcap.
Unfortunately Jonathan's has taken a turn for the worst. They have implemented a special credit card transaction fee on all purchases. How tacky is that when you pay $20 for a salad and then you have to pay an additional special convenience fee because you pay by credit card. In this day and age who doesn't pay by credit or debit card? This is just absolutely tacky. Shame on them.
