We stopped by at 5:30 pm on 4th of July before the fireworks celebration & no problem getting a table. The service was good & we enjoyed our time there! We had the Chicken gorgonzola pasta & the Bone in Pork Chops - which were both very good & perfect serving sizes! They out did themselves on the desserts (creme brulee & bread pudding). We will definitely return again♥️
I should have known when they were out of french onion soup by dinner service, to walk away. Our dinner reservation was at 7 and we still didn't have food at 830. Four of our party of 6 from Friday night ended up with food poisoning from either the salmon or the salad, which the four of us had all had some of, it hit two of us almost immediately upon leaving. Another party member had the pork chop, which was super dry and the pizza was just mediocre, like over cooked pita bread smeared with pesto, pretty tastless. I had added chicken and not only was it unpresentable, it just looked like little salad bar cubes and wasn't well dispersed. The signature cocktails were just okay. I had the 10$ pomegranate spritzer and ended up switching off because I simply didn't like it, and never once was I asked why it just sat there without being drank. Max's used to be a place to put on your nice clothes, have a fancy cocktail and enjoy a pricy dinner experience with confidence, but now it's just pricy. I contacted the restauraunt over facebook and just got a thumbs up reply. So ... great. 400$ and beyond with tips between the 6 of us and but hey, practically unlimited weight loss from all the N&D
The best place and a must-visit every time we come back to Paducah ❤️
Good food and good service. Max’s accommodated my vegetarian diet by offering pasta dishes on the menu without the protein. The lemon oregano ‘chicken’ over fettuccine without chicken, was delicious. There was a lot of vegetables in the pasta. My husband enjoyed the brick oven lasagna. I had a yummy pear martini. Would come again next time we’re in Paducah.

Appetizers, cocktails, through dinner and dessert. Service and food was excellent. The outdoor seating was nice. Portion sizes were perfect and no issues at all with the quality of anyone's food. Well balanced entrees as well (example: the warm arugula salad was the perfect foil for the richness of the gorgonzola of my steak forestiere). Service was polite, mindful, and prompt, but never intrusive (that's a rare balance I hardly ever find). We went mid-week, and will likely continue our patronage similarly (I'm not a huge fan of large weekend crowds). TBH, I've tried to think of there was anything amiss at all, and I can't recall a single thing.

I was on a business trip and looking for a local but healthy option. The salmon dish here was delicious, and great southern hospitality. Thank you!

Food and service are great. Fancy dining out without the overpriced fancy price (Like Stella's down the road). Only complaint. Place is too small. It got busy & people were shoulder to shoulder(on the inside). It was raining tht day. Bumping into one another. But other than that. An all round great experience. & side note: No sweet tea. Which is fine with me. But it might matter to some.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, good food & service. Not a huge menu but that's okay. We where a group of 5 & everyone was pleased.
Food was amazing, definitely get the Brick Oven Brie appetizer it was delicious, I went for Italian Sausage Pizza didn’t disappoint I’m only giving a 3 on Atmosphere bc it was really loud tables are too close and if you are expecting to have a conversation you will have to yell at each other to communicate. We sat at the roofed patio and it was packed. Nice decorations tho.
Our waitress did a great job keeping attention to our needs.
