First off, the location is nothing short of Art Deco Awwwesomeness. The small but mighty shop is located in an old Coca-Cola plant amongst other businesses. Their coffee is small batch roasted with emphasis on "lab" creations. I had the dark roast pour over. Coffee was very good. It wasn't as nuanced as I would've expected. For their 8oz cappuccino, recommend adding a second shot to balance out flavors. It’s served in a larger mug which feels more like a 10 oz, making for a very milky cappuccino. Also the steamed milk/ foam was of lower quality than in many of the photos (large bubbles/very textured, and no “art”). Possibly a newer/less experienced barista. Atmosphere was great! Limited seating but great architecture and decor.
One of my favorite things to do while traveling is visit the local coffee shops, always searching for great baristas and the best coffee roaster (for my taste). This place was on point. Coffee that can be appreciated by connoisseurs and starbuckians. The service was great, soft and kind, friendly and knowledgeable.
