Our wait for pizza after being seated was just under an hour. Which would have been ok if the pizza was great. Sadly it was just ok. The crust is actually kinda tuff. The taco pizza wasn’t good at all. The house special was pretty good.

Don't let the store front fool you. Service prompt and attentive! Pizza was very good! Try the honey to dip pizza. I was pleasantly surprised.

The first time I went here last year it was probably top 3 pizzas I've had since I've been in Kentucky. I went back again yesterday, I would have been happier with little ceasars. What I got wouldn't pass for decent truck stop pizza. The crust on the medium pizza was burnt. The cheese is flavorless. Hopefully the dogs won't complain.

What an awesome place!! Read and reviews and had to check it out and YEAH, place is GREAT! Had the wings and meatball sandwich which both were awesome! Service, and I'm sorry I forgot the thing lady, she was excellent! Love the history and the decorations are a touch back in time 👍👍😊

We’re from Oshkosh Wi , and come to Pizza By the Pound , every year we go to the Superman Celebration in Metropolis Illinois, which is just across the bridge from Paducah, Kentucky. It’s become a tradition because of the exceptional pizza , which is definitely a step up from the usual pizza places you’ll find in most cities. THIS SHOULD BE A STOP FOR EVERYONE! Now add the amazing wait staff , who make sure your experience is best it could possibly be, and we are always made to feel special every year . We come in late , after a long day at the Superman Celebration , and our waitress treats us like royalty. We always end up being the last ones out , and there’s never any complaints. Make this a habit if you’re in the area , you definitely won’t regret it, plus the price is right, and there’s pictures of the Elvis, Marilyn Monroe , and many other legends!

I had a large custom cheeseburger pizza made with mayo added it was phenomenal.
Inside you'll find a great air conditioned atmosphere reminiscent of a local tavern. Staff for super courteous and prompt.
The walls were decorated with various memorabilia from prior decades.
It's also a unique building with different rooms to explore.
Definitely an amazing restaurant.

Although the pizza was pretty good, the Philly Steak sandwich didn’t have much flavor. Our service was not that great. We ran out of drinks and couldn’t get waitress to look our way. It was ok but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.
