I’m 46 years old and I’ve been eating Starnes BBQ ever since I was old enough to eat it. When I want a quick meal I buy it by the sandwich or 2 and when I’m planning meals I buy it by the pound. Pork (Light Sauce) is my go-to. Absolutely delicious. The service is fantastic every time and I love the inside because it feels comfortable and nostalgic.

My husband is from Paducah. So 16 years ago he introduced this great diner to me. And I instantly fell in love. Sandwiches are to this day reasonably prices. They have amazing ham by the pound for sale too. To take with you. which is the best flaky ham ive ever eaten. Now, that bottle of Starnes sauce. Is FIRE. (the hot) If you like spicy this sauce is for you. We keep stocked up with it now that we've moved away to Missouri. Great atmosphere, great service, best BBQ sandwiches I've had. And we travel alot. It's a local jem. That's forsure. Definitely check them out.

Had a nice lunch here today, the place and food looked just like the pictures too! Food was ready in like two minutes despite the 11am crowd! They only have one level of heat for the house BBQ sauce, they said to add more if you want it hotter. I thought it was perfect and put more on every bite of meat. Good potato salad, above average service, and still so affordable! I should have been stopping here years ago, I'll definitely be back :)

We stopped here while visiting Paducah for the Quilt Show. It was so good, we went a second time! It’s not super appealing on the outside, but it’s a BBQ must-stop. We saw it featured on Food Network’s Best Bite in Town and thought we’d give it a try.
The staff were super friendly and hard working. The prices were unbelievable - $3.90 per sandwich! They have pork, beef, bologna, turkey and ham. We tried pork, turkey and ham. All were delicious! They come on toasted white bread with their house bbq sauce. Delicious! The meat is juicy and flavorful. You can really taste the smoke in the meat. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. It’s worth the stop!
