I hadn't been to this steak n shake in years. I understand technology being used to help with ordering but I feel like this has gone too far...
No employee comes to take your order. You can only order through a screen. You also get a ticket for your drink to scan at the fountain drink station. This was especially confusing because no one explained this system to us. The only employee-customer reaction we experience was when picking up our food.

Cant really comment on the atmosphere, as I went through the drive thru. The burger was pretty well put together and tasted good.

Burger was hot, delicious and it looked like it was bigger than usual. I don’t know if they increased their burger size. Touchscreen ordering was very easy. Food came out within just a few minutes.

Food is great. There is "NO" service. A KIOSK, really? For ordering your food and QR codes for drinks. LISTEN management.......if you offer a sit down, diner style restaurant, that is not fast food, PROVIDE FULL SERVICE!!!!!!!
Ever hear if the customer is always right ...I ordered a combo and cheese fries dude ...don't tell me it's ok they messed up and left out the fries....just fix it....plus don't make me wait while my food gets cold to give me the fries after I said I would purchase them ....buying them twice essentially.

Came thru drive thru and the lady at the drive thru upended the window as my car was moving and damaged my car and they laughed behind the window. Called to get a number to the owner and they refused it and the lady said she was the general manger but chose to be loud very disrespectful and refused to help. So I had to make a police report and still having to find a way to contact someone from the company for my car. Very unprofessional food was okay but the fries was still raw working in fast food it’s was like they dropped fries in grease that wasn’t ready brought them out to be very greasy and under cooked. By the way they kept looking at us I think their goal was to get us out the drive thru because the lady hit my car.
Great All American restaurant. I feel so at home when I eat here. The staff is friendly and always have a positive attitude and service.

Food is not worth the money. Its worse than McDonald's; at least McDonald's has someone to take your order. How does this place stay open? It used to be packed at lunchtime; now it's empty.

This review is about Samantha. She was great! She met us as we walked in, explained the kiosk and helped when the soda fountain stopped distributing drinks (we had to rescan our drink slip a few times). She was happy, spoke well and helped as we needed
