Treated myself to a Thanksgiving breakfast at Waffle House. Service was outstanding, food was hot & yummy, & I took home a lot of leftovers. I attempted to buy a Waffle House gift certificate but they didn't have any & suggested I go to Walmart or Walgreens to buy one. I did think that was strange.

Restaurant was clean but I didn’t know who my server was as there was someone who got me coffee but gave me hot tea instead that was corrected and a cook I guess who brought the food and then refilled my coffee but couldn’t figure out our bills final price and even took the check back to adjust the price and even had issues with that. My hash browns where Burnt even tho I asked for crispy ones w onions they were burnt as well. Not a bad bad experience just probably won’t be returning anytime soon. We were the only customers there. Pretty sure they were under some kind of influence

I came in and sat at the counter. One of the workers may have been filling in as I drank my coffee, and they continued to converse about the leader not being allowed in the location when he is off duty. Another worker had gone on break ..heard all the conversation about getting new tires on the workers' truck .. with my coffee now finished and other patrons coming in .. No one took my order, so I got up after 30 minutes to pay, and then they realized no one had taken my order and offered after I already told them I was leaving ?
