The soft serve machine has been “broken” for almost 2 years that I know of. Can you just, ya know, get it fixed? We waited about 40 minutes for 3/4 of our Blizzards, with the last one not being made because the machine had shut down again. By this time the chicken we ordered was cold. I would be upset at this, but I’m more angry at the fact that this has been my experience here 3 times in the past 2 years, and I’ve only visited about 4 times total. They once told me it would take them about 20 minutes for my frozen treat because of the machine, and that was 2024. Are repairmen unheard of? Is this some 1850s machine that only a Tibetan monk with 60 years of training can work on? I used to beg people to try our DQ because it was the best around, and now I tell them to avoid it.

Don’t use them on door dash! They have items on the menu they refuse to fix after accepting the order and two dashers arriving to pick it up that now wasted time and gas! Why not just fix it and send it out! It’s bacon and eggs for Christ sakes! Instead of causing people more issues!
Why have a menu with items you refuse to fix and accept an order you refuse to fix??
Would they like us to waste their time and now have to wait week or two for a 32$refund? This is not ok

Absolutely the best Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to. They have a much better selection and variety than any other DQ. I would highly recommend them for anyone.
the workers can’t count and overcharge you for items. They take forever to make things, and I’m not impatient but 30 minutes for a chicken strip basket? The workers never answer for pick up orders either! And I love Dairy Queen it’s one of my favorite restaurants but you’re better off going to McDonald’s instead of this place! Not only those things but it’s incredibly dirty and run down.

My wife, two daughters, oldest son, and I visited the Paintsville KY., Dairy Queen, (606) 789-5400, 906 Broadway St., Paintsville, KY 41240 on 2024-10-23. My two brothers with their two families also went to Paintsville but did not visit the Dairy Queen. I usually order footlong coneys when we go down because they are the best ones in both Ohio, Kentucky, and elsewhere. I only ordered one small coney because my youngest brother said he had been there a few weeks earlier and they had changed the recipe for the coney sauce. After patronizing this particular Dairy Queen for most of our lives, we now find that they have went the way of other establishments by ruining a good thing. What a disappointment; not only was the small coney awful but it cost $4.30. I am glad I didn’t order 5 complete footlong meals with fries and drink. We then went to Arby’s but it wasn’t our first choice. If you have heard me brag up the Dairy Queen’s food, I am now rescinding that suggestion. The coney sauce had a barbeque flavor and was redder than normal. Who puts barbeque sauce in coney sauce? We lived in Paintsville from 1952 -1967 and then moved to Ohio. Many of my friends and family now live in Ohio and elsewhere but still visit our childhood homes frequently. I still have a lot of family and friends who still live in Kentucky in both Salyersville and Paintsville. Spread the word and just maybe these hotdog destroyers will reverse this bad decision. I am going to post this on the review sites just for good measure. Another ICON bites the dust. Sorry everyone.
