I mentioned in my reservation on Open Table that we'd be having lunch to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday. From the moment we arrived they went above and beyond to make her feel special. They saved us a beautiful corner table by the indoor fire with a perfect view of the restaurant. The aesthetic and cleanliness is what jumped out first. What a cool place! Our server was so nice and attentive to everything we asked for. Our food arrived quickly and it was absolutely delicious! Other employees even went out of their way to come by and say happy birthday and make small talk with us. It's sometimes difficult to find a place that pleases our large family but we've definitely found it now in Trackside. I'd give our experience a million stars if I could.

Food was good, a couple of items came out wrong and needed to be replaced. Service was ok but not top level. The place looks and feels neat, but the prices are kinda high overall. I would say try it once for the uniqueness.

I had the Chef Salad. Wow! Real pulled turkey with shaved ham and bacon. This was a great salad in a really cool location. The prices are also very good.

Although it was Valentine's Day and there were reservations cards on most tables we were seated quickly. The waitress was efficient and very friendly. We had the hot brown and hot brown baked potato with side salad. The potato was huge! Both had the usual hot brown toppings. The ham was sliced paper thin and the turkey was shredded. The sauce was creamy and delicious. The perfect amount of cheddar cheese. The bacon was crisp. The only disappointment was the tiny cherry tomatoes. But it is in fact still winter here in Paris, Kentucky.For dessert we shared the Bourbon bread pudding a la mode. The butter bourbon sauce was divine. Recommend highly!

Such a hidden gem within our commonwealth of Kentucky, I’d place Trackside above and beyond any expectations I could’ve ever dreamt of within a hometown classy restaurant. Our waiter Nicole was the sweetest and kindest woman on earth keeping the night moving swiftly while a retaining flawless work effort along with bringing my family and I to genuine laughter and good times. I've had a month to think abt my review for Train Depot Restaurant. I decided to EDIT my review! We had a family gathering for lunch at Trackside. Reservations were made in advance bc of size of our party.Place was very inviting. Nice decor. Outdoor seating available for summertime use. Service was good. Food was ok,.. . Potato skin appetitizer was good. I had the Chicken Salad and banana bread plate with fruit. Would I order again. NO!! I've always heard everything on your plate needs to be EDIBILE!! The pineapple slices still contained the outer skin. It is VERY HARD to trim pineapple with a butter knife with food on your plate. Shouldn't have to use hands for sticky pineapple! Grapes were SOO OLD... they were mush! The grape stems were dried and shriveled up. Banana bread needed 5+ more minutes in oven. My husband had the grilled chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and green beans. The mashed potatoes were served with the potatoes unpeeled. A lot of potato skins n mashed potatoes is NOT appetizing!! No salt on potatoes!! Green beans were excellent. Chicken very bland!! I had bourbon bread pudding for dessert. It was ok. Nice gathering place for a group. Food mediocre!!

I am an hour and a half from Paris, KY. We took our children to the Milersburg Christmas Lights and decided to stop and eat on the way back. I was so excited to find this restaurant and so may good reviews! I called and spoke with an employee to confirm they were still open prior to our arrival. She explained to me the food they served, kid friendly and even mentioned pet friendly. This call was made at 6:14 pm. We arrived at 6:34 pm just to be told by the hostess that they were no longer taking walk ins. I literally pulled my phone out to show the time I called and the hostess gave zero consideration. It’s a little disappointing with the lack of communication and inconsideration by the hostess.
