“My husband and I "accidently" found this restaurant and decided to try it out. All I can say is "Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Plan on returning and HIGHLY suggest this place when in Paris. The best coffee I've ever had in a restaurant.”
“Best Mexican food in Paris, KY. A superior version of Qdoba or Chipotle, it functions much the same, where you go down the line getting add-ins to your burrito or bow or tacos etc...the meats are delicious and well seasoned, the rice is fluffy, the beans are whole, and the veggies crunchy. The toppings are fresh and you got to get the pico, it's packed with flavor. I highly recommend getting their horchata to drink. Their salsas are fantastic and have good flavor, I recommend the creamy green one and the dark red one for super spicy but bueno flavor, they go great with the chips.Vegetarian options: You don't have to get meat.Parking: It's not the biggest lot, but there are lots of places to park around the building.Wheelchair accessibility: They are ADA compliant.”
“For a little restaurant the atmosphere is friendly and just cool to hang out. The food is probably the best Mexican we've had in the Lexington area. Paris is about 30 minutes north but the food and service is amazing. Brush up on your Espanol.”
“The service was absolutely excellent! Very pleasant and attentive. Friendly & smiling people dining all around us. The food was as expected for a small town restaurant that used to be a chain.”
“Waitress didn't check in with us often. Didn't get to our table to take our order. Had to wait. It wasn't busy. Food was home style, good over all. But I would go back again.”
“Overall enjoyed a meal here after a very cold round of golf. It definitely hit the spot. Nothing overly fancy but I did enjoy the setting and while the food isn't unique it was prepared well and tasted good. I will be back to try it again.”
“This is a favorite spot in Paris! Always excellent food - definitely not your typical bar fare. Owners Ricki (bartender) and Sally (chec) are an excellent duo. You're missing out if you don't try this place! We go here two or three times a month. Thursday night is trivia night, so keep that in mind because it can get busy.”
“I mentioned in my reservation on Open Table that we'd be having lunch to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday. From the moment we arrived they went above and beyond to make her feel special. They saved us a beautiful corner table by the indoor fire with a perfect view of the restaurant. The aesthetic and cleanliness is what jumped out first. What a cool place! Our server was so nice and attentive to everything we asked for. Our food arrived quickly and it was absolutely delicious! Other employees even went out of their way to come by and say happy birthday and make small talk with us. It's sometimes difficult to find a place that pleases our large family but we've definitely found it now in Trackside. I'd give our experience a million stars if I could.”
“If you’re lookin for the best tamales in town, you’ve found the place. This is not a fine dining establishment. This is great, authentic food in a grocery store. Yummy.”
“The berger and fries were fantastic! 3 Bar tables were in great shape and play well. They do a good job of putting on a pool tournament and the owner is one of the nicest guys I've ever met.”
“Visiting Riviera Maya is like leaving Paris KY and going to Mexico with an incredible ambiance. The staff is beyond friendly, they treat everyone like family. It is beyond the best of the best in Paris KY. Maya and the staff are like family. The food is to die for! Fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Every time I’m in Paris, Maya is a must go to spot. Personal recommendation get the Guacamole Mexicano I can assure you won’t be disappointed! Maya is the best Mexican restaurant in and around Paris!”
“The music was very upbeat & I was transported to a pre pandemic vacation in Mexico. Great margaritas, chips fresh & fajitas excellent. I was transported to a pre pandemic time in Mexico.”
“Get here early if you want a good breakfast. Biscuits, hash browns and coffee is pretty consistent. There have only been a few times I’ve got a bad biscuit and it’s usually a issue with the chicken. I don’t eat here as often as I did, but lunch is usually decent. It can be hit or miss late in the afternoon.Parking: It can be difficult to find parking between 7-9am.”
“Stop here on your way through Paris for a good, cheap meal! Classic Roadhouse kinda vibe, clearly loved.***Cash Only-but there's an ATM (with cheap fees) right inside the door***”
“I love Happy People. My son who is wild and full of energy (and doesn’t ever get anything caffeinated) loves Happy People. We can get goodies from Martine’s without going to Lexington. They have an amazing selection of herbal teas as well. The coffee is phenomenal. The food is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend.Vegetarian options: You may have to take meat off a sandwich or salad but they’re happy to do it and their veggies are fresh and delicious. There are several salads and wraps where I wouldn’t miss the meat tbh.Dietary restrictions: I was on a low carb diet and they happily made accommodations.Parking: There’s a free lot right next door and behind on Pleasant St, with a backdoor you can enter thru.Kid-friendliness: They put up happily with my hellcat.Wheelchair accessibility: Long, low rise ramp.”
