Friendly waitress and manger great service cheese bread was delicious and so was the spinach dip, wings are really good.

Hostess was sitting at table when I came in… told me to seat myself then no one waited on me for 20 monies so I left. Place was full of in-bussed dirty tables and food.

On recommendation from the bartender, I tried the Midnight Burger, which was unexpectedly amazing. A good burger with cheese, fried jalapenos, fried egg, and blackberry jam!? Well balanced sweet and sour!
Tator Tots why not.
Hot Chocolate lava cake was very good moist cake and real chocolate lava, not that fake melted chocolate. It tasted like fresh out of the oven, with big scoops of vanilla icecream.

OVERALL VERY LACKING AND FOOD DISAPPOINTING....

Atmosphere: Dank and dusty. Particles of dust float down from the ceiling and land gently on top of your meal. There is a type of insulation on top of the grate on the ceiling which is disgusting to look at while eating your meal. The insulation has hair, dust, bugs that hang gently above your head. There are electrical wires and cords in the rafters and behind a very ugly black curtain. Glass windows are greasy and stained. Pleather seats have rips and holes.

Sirloin ($25) : When a sirloin needs ketchup to add flavor, it is a failure and disappointment. Waitress did not bring the side salad that is included. The value of this entree does not match the price.

Fries: Flavorless and moist. Will need copious amounts of salt and pepper or add ketchup.

Employees: Wait staff was slow and not familiar with the menu. Waitress sat and ate their dinner in guest area while we were still waiting to order. Waitress did not bring the side salad that is included with the sirloin entree. Waitress brought three plain sliders instead of one American Hamburger with pickles that was ordered.

I’m giving this spot a Pikeville 5 as options are few and far between and this place gives it a solid try. Our server, a Pikeville 10, was attentive and gave us her recommendations when asked. We stuck to basics for the best part and went a couple of times as we were in town for eight nights. We mostly drank red wine as they have a great bottle on the menu at a great price… though our waitress let us know she thinks all wine tastes like olive juice and didn’t understand our choice. Food was as expected and after 12 hours of work it hit the spot. Fussy folk will find stuff to fuss about here, but again out of the options available, this place is a 5.

Bank 253 is in a great location and has potential for a great vibe. I’ve eaten here more than once and the food is always SUB par. I have yet to eat quality food anywhere in Pikeville. Very disappointing.

Bank 253 is our go to for burgers and drinks. The service is top notch. Try the barbeque burger and blackberry martini. SCRUMPTIOUS.

Fun place , Great food...

I arrived and the server asked me if I knew what I wanted to drink. I said I wanted to see the menu. It was almost 20 minutes before she came back. Otherwise, the service was fine.

The food was well-prepared. However, the website was down and would not load. I used the menu on Google to see what I wanted to eat. According to the menu, the fillet was $30. I went ahead and ordered my food at the same time as my drinks so I never looked at the menu they handed me. When I got my check - Surprise! The Fillet was $50. Everything was almost twice as much as what the mini online showed. They would not honor the online price and said they had no control over what was posted online. The food is good, but check the prices in The restaurant and do not trust what you see online.

The nachos were unique and tastee!!
