My family and I just ate at Royal for the first time. I ordered garlic naan and chicken korma. My husband ordered chicken tiki masala. My son ordered butter chicken and plain naan. It was absolutely delicious. The waiter was nice and checked on us several times. The building and decor was nice. I highly recommend this restaurant and the food! Five stars!!!!!
I read the reviews like everyone else and they are correct! Even if you don’t know what you want go in a give it a try. Ive never had Indian food before. It’s worth it we loved everything it was nice and hot the serving sizes were very decent. The place was beautiful, if you skeptical please give it a chance. The Garlic Naan was a good choice. WILL BE COMING BACK
I love Indian food but have not been able to enjoy it in a restaurant without traveling 2+ hours. Royal Restaurant is still an hour from where I live but I had heard great things so my wife and I took a chance on a lunch-date trip to Prestonsburg to try it. We arrived a few minutes before they opened so we had a chance to walk around the building and appreciate the cool architecture. A plaque on the building dates it to 1931.
