Atrium Brewing - Norton Commons

We love this place. Their sours are always on point and easily some of the best around. As parents, we really appreciate how kid friendly and welcoming it is. They also have mixed drinks, wine, and non beer options, which makes it an easy choice when you’re with a group and everyone wants something different. Definitely one of our go-to spots.

Super disappointing first experience here :( We love the Logan Street location and went here to check it out with our families. Group of 6 adults and 4 children. We checked the website to ensure it was all ages before entering. We ordered some drinks after walking in, and we weren’t even greeted or asked to keep a tab open, which was odd. We all tipped 25%.

We took our seats upstairs where no one was sitting, and we all sat on the couches. The children were behaving and just chatting amongst themselves. We posed them on the back couch and took a photo, and they all said “Cheese!” and we all laughed as we took the photos.

Within 30 seconds, a male employee with shoulder length dark hair stormed up the steps and said, “All that anyone can hear down there is the kids. KEEP IT DOWN.” And threw out his hands and stormed back downstairs. This is unacceptable. It would be one thing if the children were screaming and cartwheeling and being rowdy, but apparently we can’t ask them to say Cheese to take a photo? Apparently, they are not allowed to laugh even though the other adult patrons downstairs were being louder than the children.

We were going to order another round of drinks and some food but left after this. We will not be frequenting this location again and instead will stick to Logan Street, where we have always been welcomed even with our families.

Maybe don’t say that an establishment is ALL AGES if you don’t actually MEAN that.

Nice place, wide variety of beer.

Came hear on a Friday they had a silent disco I tried several sample beers and didn’t find anything I really liked tried the Mexican lager it wasn’t any better for me. The silent disco was amazing if you haven’t tried go!

We usually go to the other location but had to come here to try the sours on tap. Norton Commons is such a weird place 😂 this crowd just isn't for me at all 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

That's the first time I've ever been to Atrium Brewing.
No problem finding a parking spot.
I was there for my Granddaughter's Baby Shower. I had a wonderful time, everyone did.
I will tell my friends, if they ever go near Norton Commons, Prospect, KY, to be sure and stop in for a visit at Atrium Brewing! They'll love it. It's a Great Place to Host a Baby Shower or a Birthday Party.

Do yourself a favor - VISIT!!!

Immediately, the location is great. You feel like you’re in a classy part of town (you may be - I don’t know the area). Walking in, the ambiance and layout are perfect. There is plenty of room for every type - plenty of bar seating, tables near the bar, and an entire extra area for those wanting to get their steps in.

The bar backs were fantastic: very friendly, jovial, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Especially Parker!! Huge shoutout to him!! Plenty of samples, some recommendations, and the beer kept flowing.

If you’re into beer, craft beer or not, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better joint in all of Kentucky.

Always super friendly and welcoming staff makes this Atrium great. Alison was very nice for us to converse with before the crowd picked up.
Brew selection is great, from heavy dark to fruity sour, if you can’t find something you like then you don’t like real beer.

We hosted a baby shower here and it was absolutely perfect. The staff allowed us to set up earlier than usual and very accommodating to our requests. The day of couldn’t have gone smoother. Everyone enjoyed their amazing beer (seriously everything is awesome) with efficient service from the bar tenders. Would highly recommend atrium for small/medium sized parties or just a casual beer or two!

They have amazing sours here, plus it is a cute atmosphere.
The banana parfait (one of their pastry sours) is delicious!

Great Beer! Great Staff!!

We rented out the upstairs for a 40th party! The staff, space, and brews were all outstanding. Would highly recommend this for any gathering or just a place to grab drinks!

This place has the chillest and most intelligent vibe in the area. I go here on Tuesdays for the best Trivia Night (Best MC too) of all the trivia nights and places in Louisville...seriously. I've also been here on many other days in the week when you just need a friendly crowd and are more than welcome to talk to anyone. Everyone will welcome you.Now, let's get down to the beer. I'm a hazy ipa guy and the Steephill IPA is in a class all its own. I have been for several months using that as a benchmark for other hazys. They have an awesome collection of sours, lagers, stouts...and they make great Bloody Mary's.You can order food from 5 locations in the area through an app on your phone. They deliver to you in about 15 minutes. You can get pizza, Mexican, American...pretty much about 150 menu items so you're going to find what you want.Just get over to Atrium in Norton Commons and straight up chill. The bartenders rock!
