This was one of the best brunch experiences we’ve ever had. All of the staff were attentive, kind, and welcoming. The food was phenomenal. Hands down the best crab cake I’ve ever had. There is clear intention behind every dish and its ingredients. We loved it, and will absolutely be back.

This spot should be packed daily. Some of the best food I've had in Louisville. The Gumbo is in the top 3 I have ever had! The fish (I got whiting) was fried perfect and had the perfect amount of seasoning. Don't get me started on the rosemary potatoes. I will be back atleast once a month now.

Arrived for our 11:30a reservation to an empty restaurant which was our first clue this might be a bad experience. Waited at the entrance for 5 minutes, never saw a single employee or customer. Walked outside to choose another restaurant, still no employee came to the counter. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

I came her on the morning of my wedding day with my Bride Tribe and had the most amazing experience. The food was amazing! All of my girls loved everything. Pineapple mimosas, crab cakes, Brussels sprouts, grits and all things breakfast. The owner took the time to explain her background, how she prepares the food, and even played Earth, Wind, and Fire September on repeat in honor of my wedding! It was so wonderful, I came back with my son for round two! Looking forward to the Jambalaya! PS! Both bathrooms were immaculately clean!

Had lunch with my mom and sisters the atmosphere & aesthetics is everything! The food is to die for the owner even brought a surprise slice of pie and sung happy birthday!!! I will definitely be back!!!
OMG, what a hidden gem. Walked into this bistro and thought..."pink". I am not sure about this but then this vivacious woman greated us with such a warm welcome. I felt like I stepped into her home for a family gathering. It can't get better than that...wrong! The food came, the best shrimp and cheese grits I have ever had. So creamy and smooth with a ton of flavor. My husband had the French toast bake with homemade fruit compote. He wanted to eat slow so he could savor every bite. If the atmosphere ( Cool and the Gang playing on the radio) doesn't make you dance the food sure will.

Fantastic food! The owner came to our table and gave us information on how the food is prepared and gave us some background on her culinary skills. She told us she had crab cakes available as well (we didn’t see them on the menu, soooo glad she told us about them). We ordered them as an appetizer and these were the best crab cakes we have EVER eaten!!! I had the jerk chicken panini with pasta salad and I also wanted to try the greens from the menu. The greens were cooked to perfection. The pasta salad was delicious.The chicken had a great flavor and texture was perfect. My husband had the pot roast with grits and of course I had to try it…you haven’t tasted anything as good as this! The portions were perfectly sized. Blondie it was a pleasure meeting you, you really have a nice place and we are so glad you shared your family recipes for us to enjoy!
Kid-friendliness: Clean atmosphere , nicely set for families or couples to dine in. The bar is more like diner seating within the restaurant.
