Captain's Quarters Riverside Grille

captains quarters is a Louisville favorite. My 90 year old Mom is always delighted to come here. The service is good, the food is great. The views of the river are 5 star.

We had dinner at the Captains Quarters on New Years Eve. Because of this, the menu was limited. The restaurant was beautiful with a lot of history and great views. I ordered the Sea Bass and it was just ok, nothing remarkable. My date had the ribeye and it was very tasty. The service was great and the evening was seamless. We plan to go back in late spring/ early summer when we can enjoy the view with warmer weather.

Great food and restaurant. Staff needs a little more training on serving. Multitasking is essential to success. Overall good experience

Beautiful setting, mediocre food, noisy and limited service. Will not return. Pricey for food that seemed like it came from Sysco.

Great server, loved the atmosphere, turkey and brisket were excellent, as were the mashed potatoes and rolls. Cranberries a touch too tart, dressing was ok a bit flat, fried chicken was good, squash veggie combo good but not very warm and sweet potato hash was barely warm... but both were tasty. The pumpkin pie was not good.. it was void of flavor and disappointing after two bites. Shrimp was quite good and salmon was very nice.

We had a lovely lunch at CQ. Service was wonderful, food was delicious, and the gorgeous weather made it even better. Thank you!

I had a party of 35, several families accompanied me to CQ this past weekend while we were in town from Ohio for a Livestock show. It DID NOT disappoint!! Every single guest was overly impressed with the quality of the restaurant, the creativity of the menu, and the expertise and compassion of the crew. We all walked away, full, content and satisfied. Thank you to all of the staff for the amazing experience.

My cousin visited from Orlando, Fl. and it was her birthday. My nephew joined us and it was a great experience. The food was very good, it was festive for the Fall season and the service was excellent. James was very attentive as our waiter. We all enjoyed looking out to the Ohio River. 2T

Restaurant looks a little upscale it's beautiful on the outside and the inside sits right there on the river scenery is amazing the food was perfect the service was amazing. We've already talked about it and we plan on going back.

People drinking and yelling over each other in the bar area Sat night. I wish we would have thought to ask to be moved away from them. There were many available booths. I banged my hand on the table to bring attention to their obnoxious loud talking & laughing. My watch sensed the movement & recorded I fell. I had to scream canceling watch 3 times or EMS would have arrived. It was my friend's birthday dinner. The waitress was kind but could have moved us? The scenery outside from the window was beautiful. The loud noise ruined her birthday dinner. Carolyn Lucchese

The live music is always fantastic. The restaurant sits directly on the Ohio Riverbank. Boats come and go all day and night. The food is great and the view is spectacular. Very popular and up eat restaurant.

Probably passed this place a hundred times and never knew it was there. Awesome place! Gonna try and make it back there again next Spring.When the weather is nice to sit out and enjoy the view of the boats and the river

The service was lacking considering how empty the restaurant was. Food was good....not great.
