Extremely disappointed with the expensive Mother’s Day buffet- very limited selection of food and desserts, mediocre food at best. It wouldn’t compare to the sumptuous Thanksgiving buffet my family and I enjoyed three years ago. Doubt I will return to this restaurant.

There are no reservations outside, but it is a waiting list. Empty tables, but we are supposed to wait more than 2 hours.

I'd rather have fewer items to pick from the menu and the food be great. Peel and eat shrimp, Artichoke queso we're good. My salmon bowl was tasty. Salmon was a bit overcooked but had great flavor. My husband had the seafood trio. It was okay. His salmon was dry, and the corn salad / succatash was dry like it had been warmed up too many times. Bread pudding was dry, I was expecting googy moist bread pudding it was not. I would still go back and try something different. It was Derby weekend, and that may have caused some issues. The atmosphere was lively. Loved the outdoor space and live music and beautiful scenery. There are plenty of places to sit. Everyone was having a great time! Again, I look forward to going back and trying something differentKid-friendliness: Kids were fishing

Had a little trouble getting a dish with no cheese. Seemed to be a language issue. The restaurant was beautiful and watching the sun set was just awesome. The food I finally did get was terrific!

I had originally reserved for 4 but meant to do for 6. I had thought I had made the update, but it must not have gone through. Captains Quarters so graciously accommodated us. Also, my husband had a request of "no corn" on his entree but it came out with corn. Again, the server graciously accommodated his request. Great service. Thank you.

Atmosphere was great! Live band by the river, drink selections were Fabulous. Food prices were reasonable. I'd rather have smaller menu less options and quality be better. Crab cakes had a great flavor needed to have a better crust on outside. Bread pudding was on the dry side. All in all we would go back.
