Senor Gustavo has raised the bar for Mexican cuisine in Louisville. Beautiful venue and live music on a Sunday night. Great food and service as typical. Gustavo was there as well tonight working hard to give customers a great, elevated experience.

Had the burrito supreme, when it came out it was very underwhelming for it to be called supreme. The beans tasted like caned beans. On the other hand Al pastor tacos with corn tortillas would definitely recommend. Their salsa de tomatillo is tasty and has a lovely little kick.
The atmosphere at the new Prospect Gustavo's is very swanky. The decor leads one to feel like they are in a nice city in Mexico. I recommend the burrito Mexican. They definitely understand pork carnitas. Yum!
Parking: The parking lot is small compared to the restaurant capacity, Go early or late. Peak times can be challenging to find a spot to park.

Went with family. I ordered a combo...the taco was ok but the burrito and tamale was so salty it was not edible. I told the waiter and he gave me a strange look and said nothing. Did not offer to take it off the bill yet he could see only one bite of each was eaten. Will never return!
