This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Prospect and also love their location in Carrollton! Fantastic food, drinks and service! Won’t go anywhere else for Mexican food! Definitely a must try!

We had a great meal at Papi’s Mex Grill and Bar. Located in Prospect off Hwy 42, the restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a lively atmosphere with music, TVs, and spacious booths. The service was excellent, and the food did not disappoint.
I had the Pollo con Chorizo, and my friend ordered the Chimichangas—both were delicious and full of flavor.
If you’re looking for tasty Mexican food with friendly service and a relaxed setting, Papi’s is worth a visit. Highly recommend!

Papi’s is so yummy and the atmosphere is very chill. I typically get the taco salad with chicken and I always leave with leftovers. If you live in prospect and want to avoid the crowd at Gustavo’s, Papi’s is perfect to get your Mexican fix. They also have amazing chips with dips. The picture is my taco salad that I received tonight.

Our first visit to Papi's Mex Grill and Bar was very nice. The restaurant, which is located in a strip mall in Prospect, has a very clean and upbeat atmosphere (authentic music playing, TVs, friendly staff, and spacious booths for seating) as a backdrop for a delicious beef grand burrito, beef chimichanga, and lime margaritas!

Seems like a rebrand from the previous name. But the food and service are good. Better than Gustavo's down the road.
