We were on vacation and starving so we pulled up restaurants nearby and this was a spur of the moment choice. Needless to say it did not disappoint. We very lucky and got a table in the bar area as they were booked with reservations. We started with the shrimp cocktail which was so good. The shrimp were ice cold and the cocktail sauce was perfect. We opted to share the New York Strip which was topped with fried onions, and our sides of scratch made collards and mashed potatoes. They plated our steaks and sides on two different plates before bringing our food to the table. This was by far some of the best food we had on this trip. We finished up with MOLTEN CHOCOLATE BOMBE which is a Chocolate cake with a warm liquid chocolate center, with vanilla ice cream and we opted to have it "loaded" with peanut butter, bacon, and whipped cream. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! The ambiance was very nice. As I said, we sat in the bar area but it was still very quiet and it's a quaint little restaurant. The server was stellar. If you're ever in Prospect Kentucky, do not miss this spot.

I've only eaten there once, but I had the grilled blackened salmon. It was delicious, but a little pricey for myself now if somebody else is paying not a problem.

Had a wonderful dining experience here at Blackstone. Trish, our sever was attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. My steak was cooked perfectly, and I loved the corn pudding (not in the photo) Looking forward to my next visit.

This is an outstanding small neighborhood family-owned restaurant. Every time we've eaten there the food has been delicious and the service efficient. All of this and prices that are very reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

All the 5 star reviews are either friends of the owner or have long covid and have lost their sense of taste permanently. I feel like I should apologize to my girlfriend for bringing her here. The average entree price was 25 bucks when it should have been 6.99. If you gave me the choice between this place and McDonald's I'm picking the Golden Arches EVERY time. As soon as the food hit the table I knew it was not going to be good..it looked horrible. The cup that the sweet potato fries came in was ACTUALLY sitting directly in the gravy! The chicken looked and tasted like it had been boiled, and the fish was cold. Someone in the kitchen was clearly trying to dress the fish up by putting peas on top. I got full on Sierra Mist and spinach dip because it was the only palatable thing on the table. I guarantee a meal at Denny's would have been better...yes I said Denny's because that's how horrible it was.

Our favorite place to eat in Louisville. The staff are always fabulous and friendly. The salmon, beef fillets are good. May be the best hamburger in town as the burger is brisket and prime rib cuts of meat blended together. The nightly specials are always good. Great pours from the bar.

I have been there twice because I love prime rib. It has no flavor for the Ajou. You get a good size piece of meat, but it has no flavor.

Back to great! We thought things had slipped but tonight reinforced that they are back on track. Even added 2 shrimp to the cocktail and everything was great. Macy served us well and all the support team was constantly on the spot to add water, clear plates, and connect wifi! Kudos to the entire team.
