Food and service were outstanding, especially for such a busy night (Valentine's Day). Very impressed. Making 2 people split a 4-top with 2 other strangers was not fun at all. If I had known, I perhaps would have tried this restaurant a different night.
Our reservation was delayed a bit by the previous table's enjoyment of the place, and we had to wait. I sense this is infrequent, and the staff and the general manager obtained a level of service recovery that few of us in customer forward positions have ever seen! We enjoyed a date night dinner with the attentive staff at Watch Hill Proper. Their new seasonal menu just dropped, highly recommend the steak tartare, beet salad, chicken schnitzel, and fried brussel sprouts. We felt taken care of and the vibe is upscale relaxed. Gave a cozy, romantic feel to our experience on a cold winter evening.
