Apollo Pizza & Beer Emporium - Downtown Richmond

I had Corbin’s Apollo’s today ans it’s hands down the best pizza from Williamsburg to Lexington and maybe further and yes that is including other Apollos locations as well. Don’t let this one slip by go out and show them some love of your in the tri county area

My husband and I had been waiting to visit the Corbin location until the "new" wore off. My goodness was it worth the wait!! The service is phenomenal, I noticed there is only maybe two servers at this location and boy did they not stop moving! Our server was super friendly and attentive! The whole place was full of people and he stayed asking how everyone was doing! ...so phenomenal job on his part. They have SEVERAL beers on tap and even offer a cider option! (which I love!) We ordered the "Tripper and Rudy" appetizer and my goodness they were delicious. My husband usually doesn’t like meatball dishes like that but he loved them! We also had "The Rachel" pizza and it was some of the best pizza we have had. Fresh cilantro, the delicious BBQ sauce. omg. My husband also ordered the bone-in Wings (Carolina gold) and that sauce was so good! Holy cow! The overall experience was delicious!! 10/10 recommend!

We had dinner here on a Thursday night. Food was great. We had boneless wings and a large pizza. Came out quickly. Service was friendly. Kid friendly atmosphere. We will be back.

I love the layout of this location. Service was pleasent, go check them out if you havnt already. I bet this would be a great spot for college friends to hangout and eat.

We LOVE Apollos! The pizza is the best in town, they always have a good rotating beer selection, and the location with the outdoor patio is perfect for spending an evening outdoors.

Used to love this place. A few times I let the experience I had go that I had in person since I get it, it gets busy.

But when I order online to mitigate those issues I feel like it should be cut and dry. A few times it hasn't been so now I'm finally airing it out.

Multiple times they have forgotten food. Multiple times it has been almost ice cold before it got to my house and I live 1.4 miles away from Apollo. And multiple times the delivery driver blamed the restaurant while the restaurant blames the delivery company. All the while you NEVER see your money back.

Avoid at all costs unless you are spending someone else's money and hanging out at the college.

I ordered a 9” buffalo chicken pizza and one of their light lagers on tap. Both were really good. The service was great and we got our food fairly quickly. It was around 5:30pm on a Tuesday. You’re able to take your food and beverages out to the patio in between Apollo and Blue Stallion so that was nice.

I live in England and every time I visit my family, we have to come here. Some of the best pizza, great atmosphere, great choice of craft beers. I dream about the Four Cheesemen of the Apocalypse pizza. Truly a local gem.

I paid $47 dollars for a 20” pizza that was thin, burnt and I think they forgot the cheese. Wasn’t till I got home did I look at it or I would have returned it. My 84 year old mother was disappointed, which says it all.

The step-down out back that goes into apollos...I almost died...1 drink in and seeing the sign :/
Pleaseeeee put up a rail.
Expected a step, but believe there were 2. I dropped it down in an ugly way.

It’s always delicious!! Our daughter goes to EKU. We always try to grab a bite here when we are in town. Cheesy garlic bread is great. The salads are yummy. The pizza and traditional crust is superb. They also have a great beer selection. They give a discount to the EKU students as well!!

Great staff. Loved the pizza. Really good prices! Excellent draft beer selections.
