Rude service. They claim that they're trying to create a welcoming atmosphere, but the first thing that you see is the cashier through a plastic bag wall. Customer service is 0/10. The guy was quite rude. And the food is questionable too. I got the shrimp fried rice, illiterally what I got was five shrimps on top of just plain rice. No vegetables, no egg, nothing to make it exciting. This is the bare minimum effort to be qualified as food.

So... the atmosphere isn't great: they're clearly primarily a to-go business. But, the food was delicious and well priced. If you are particularly sensitive to sesame oil, stay away. I love it, but it hates me. I could just be more sensitive than I used to be (I'm 45, that dookie happens), but it could be they use more, IDK. I merely have food intolerances and sensitvities, know how bad it can get, and don't want anyone to have a bad week or month.
Seriously, though: the food is delicious. Mai fun is naturally gluten-free (I'm intolerant, but experienced no gluten exposure symptoms; don't go if you have an allergy, but, folks who have a sensitivity should be okay as long as they bring gluten-free soy sauce), and theirs is tasty. Excellent prices. Check them out if you can ❤️

This is our go to place in Richmond for Chinese Food . It is always fresh, service is always fast, and people are always friendly. I wish the dining area was larger but we often just get the meal as takeout.

Very rude and not friendly no smiles at all. No thank you. Did not won’t to give extra soy sauce. Has to ask several times and still only gave 2 extra. Had a very bad smell when you walk in. I almost walked back out. So many empty boxes in dining room that it makes me wonder if they have bugs. Waited 20 minutes on food. This is my last visit

Coming in already, the employees were leaned up against the cooking stations on their phones while the person taking my order had an attitude he yelled out an order. I walked up to him. He completely ignored me. I didn’t know if that was mine, and he could’ve politely said not your order But instead, he Waved his hand for me to back up I couldn’t understand him, but I was the only one in the dining room then he finishes my food and the order was wrong. He got an attitude for no reason I wasn’t rude. I just politely told him that was not correct and then he proceeded to say well then what did you order? Customer service was completely poor and unprofessional.

They gave me what is clear to be chop suey they claim is their chow mein. Everyone knows chow mein is noodles. Never fixed it. Super disappointed. Luckily we don't live in the state. So definitely wouldnt go back.
