I was very disappointed in my visit.The first thing that struck me was the strong smell coming from the kitchen. I could see someone gagging because of it.

I also had to get the hostess to clean the chairs before we even sat down.
It seems when they clean the tables they wipe the crumbs of and they go the chairs- never clean them- they the crumbs on the chairs.

The food was not what I expected either. There were egg shells in my eggs, and the pancakes had griddle marks on them.

To make matters worse, the toast was not toasted at all.

Overall, I was very disappointed with my visit.

Normally I never have a bad experience at Cracker Barrel, but this time was pretty bad.

The waitress was extremely nice and she took off the cost of one meal.

Parking: Please clean up the restaurant. Inspect the areas the waitress and or waiters are responsible for cleaning before they leave at night daily. Not just eye site inspections.

Most of the time our food is terrific, but this past Friday it wasn't. My baked potato was very hard, the cornbread was cold. I had to get hash brown casserole instead of eating my potato and it was hard and crusty. My parents got coleslaw and it was so coarse and big. They need to make the coleslaw a little bit finer.

Parking: Had plenty of parking, but it depends on what time you go.

My guy decided to order breakfast so he ordered through door dash no complaints with door dash but the food was horrible I got the sampler which contained eggs, bacon, ham, and potato casserole in eating this I didn’t make it half way through my food till I threw it up and irked my guts out the food tasted extremely old and soapy. When I called to speak with a Supervisor (Abby or Abbie not sure how to spell it) she apologized but also stated the food was fresh which totally ignored my complaint I was willing to bring what remained on my plate so she could see for herself it is possible that a plate of food or leftovers was served to me as I am aware she cannot stand over the cooks and make sure things are always done right so next time she should not be so rushed to dismiss a complaint and for those who order on-line be careful. This experience has left me with a sore throat, extreme shakiness and unable to eat.

"Country green beans"were just out of a can: no flavor at all. Apple pieces were huge & tough. Meatloaf was mush. Very disappointed. Not like it used to be at all.

Every time I order hash brown casserole it is cold and dry the waitress microwaved last time. The manager said they had a late start and it was yesterday’s. I was still charged. Food was not as good as it used to be to be.

I had breakfast. Eggs and gravy were good. Biscuits were hard as a rock around the edges, sausage was fried so hard I could barely cut it with a knife . I was most disappointed in the hashbrown casserole. It looked like the hashbrowns were just fried and a little Shredded cheese thrown in it and it was so crusty that I could not eat it. The waitress was excellent.
She never let my coffee cup get too low. I will not be eating at CB again anytime in the future.

I got a raw loaded baked potato and they were suppose to have baked it more and I was done eating so they fixed it Togo and came home and it was still raw and hard as a rock.

We always take into consideration the day and time, but our food was dry and old as they messed up the time on the app and it sat under the heat too long.
We won’t be using that app again that’s for sure

When I finally asked for a Server, Belle came to our table and she was a DELIGHT! We only got soup & cornbread as my Mom wasn't feeling well. THE PROBLEM was, the entire time we were trying to eat and talk, your staff was cleaning around tables and scraping those God forsaken chairs across the floor what seemed like a MILLION times. It was so irritating, distracting and intrusive. Mom said, I can't even hear you! You could spend a few thousand and put rubber tips on all those chairs and it would change the entire dynamic. It will be a LONG time before we go to Cracker Barrel again. Used to love it and my daughter works at a CB!!!

Our server, DJ, was excellent! She was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Other than a room-temperature baked potato, our meal was very good.

food was lukewarm. My husband came in for the hamburger steak which is no longer on the menu. Dumplins were very runny and only had 3 dumplins - mostly liquid. Checkout took a long time. Only 1 cashier who called 3 times for help - took at least 10 minutes for someone to come out and help. Several customers who had items from the store ended up leaving without making their purchase.
