Anything anyone has to say negative about this place are you’re typical Karen’s. This place is the best spot in Richmond for Mexican food hands down. Large portions. Friendly staff. And a price you can’t beat with a stick. You basically get two meals in one every time. You could eat here once a day and meet every caloric intake you needed. Top tier nothing compares.

Came in tonight as my favorite taco truck had closed due to the rain. When I arrived the employee up front was helping the only customer at the counter. He called back for another employee to come help me. I ordered a quesadilla with tinga (chicken & onions in a chipotle sauce). The guy started making it but I noticed he was making it like a burrito not a quesadilla like I asked. I proceeded to ask for beans for my quesadilla hoping he would notice he was messing up my food. But he didn’t so me being the person that I am I just proceeded to order like I wanted a burrito and added lettuce, by this time the first employee was done with the previous customer and came over to help with my order. The first employee evidently heard me order a quesadilla and so he just pushed the food on the tortilla over and folded it then placed onto the griddle to cook it. Lettuce and all! By this point I was annoyed and just wanted to get out of there. I finished and paid, definitely will not be back again.

We got take out food from this restaurant and the portion size was amazing! The biggest burritos and nachos we've gotten. Especially for the price! The only reason we didn't give this a 5 star is because they were out of all the vegan options, such as their caso and their meat options. Hopefully, next time we come, we can try the vegan options!Edit: we returned to Don Senor to try more of their vegan options, and they were still out of vegan queso, vegan ranch, and jackfruit meatless options. Hopefully, one of these days, they have their vegan options back!

Burritos, casa dias, chips etc. Custom fillings choice. My only complaint is the Spanish rice isn't vegetarian.Vegetarian options: They have veggie crumbles for filling, but Spanish rice is made with chicken broth. Ask if you are not certain about a filling.
