Very nice experience and ambience within the restaurant. My burger had a very nice presentation and I could it was made carefully the bread used was also very nice. Most places overlook bread or certain parts of meals as unimportant but Mamut seems to care for every part of the meal. The waiters and waitresses were also very kind and friendly. They will help with any concerns or needs lovely place and workers.

I really tried to like this restaurant. We have experienced a few mistakes with orders and overdone entrees during previous visits but my wife and I tried again because I really hoped that they would get things together and become a nice place for dinner. Sadly, this visit wasn't any better.
After having previous issues with the restaurant being out of steak, my wife asked our waiter if they had the porterhouse steak listed on their menu. He assured her that they did - but they didn't. Nor did they have most of the other steaks on their menu. Restaurants occasionally run out of various items, and that's understandable, but when they're out of an entire category - and the waiter has no idea, even when directly asked - that's not OK.
I ordered a side of refried beans with my entree. When it didn't come out with my entree, I asked the waiter - who'd clearly forgotten about the side. He apologized and said that he'd bring the dish. No problem... except that even after being reminded twice, he didn't bring it. It took a third reminder to get my side dish, which arrived just in time for dessert. Another member of our party never received part of their dinner order.
The level of disorganization was really high. It would be more understandable and acceptable if it was an isolated case, or in a newly opened restaurant where the staff is still developing a smooth rhythm, but it's not acceptable when it happens several times in an established restaurant.

Absolutely loved our experience at Mamut Bar & Grill! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly—from the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The menu is extensive, with a little something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for classic American comfort food or flavorful Mexican dishes. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The relaxed, casual atmosphere made it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a great meal. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

What a wonderfully and interesting decorated restaurant featuring the mammoth and Ice Age mammals
It was large and spacious and highly decorated inside and had booths large area with seats The inside seemed luxurious, and the food was delicious and there was nobody there, and it was quiet and wonderful

I hate to have to post this, but this was the worse experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I have been there a few times before but had been over a year the times before was above average so…. Sirloin came out all fat and gristle. They brought another out and it was an entirely different cut dry and tasteless. They offered to give it to me but I wanted to pay for it, no doubt they needed the money as I was one of a two customers in that nice building on a Saturday night at 7:30. I left the little waiter a tip but quite honestly he should have been mopping floors not waiting tables. He was underage he couldn’t even bring my drink order that he messed up when we first walked in. Shame on the management team For sending him out untrained. And then, just top things off, they gave me a 10% discount which I was appreciative but then without telling me, charged me 2.50 for using my debit card. I never fussed I paid it but enjoy what ya got, I’ll not be back. If I was the owner of this place I’d fire everyone in the building except for the bartender, the two margaritas she made were on point and was fairly priced. Sorry guys! Y’all are substandard! Tighten up your game, way to many options in central Kentucky for this type of food and service.

The food was not as promised. I was told my rice and beans were in my burrito but they weren’t. They charged my card twice for the tip. And I just called the number listed on the web site and it’s out of service!

We had fajitas there was very little meat !!?? What chicken and steak there was was very tiny pieces which got burnt on the hot plate !! Totally inedible !! Great looking place and service but we won't be going back !! Real shame !!

Food was terrible 😕 paid 75 for 2 ppl because I had to order a 2nd meal because the first meal was inedible. Steak was so tough that my dentures were coming unglued. Was tough , dry and unseasoned. Don't waste your time or money here.

Atmosphere was wonderful and the staff were nice, but the food quality wasn’t as expected. We ordered fries, wings and burgers. Fries were great. The wings tasted like they were bought from the local grocery and sauced- they were fine. The burger wasn’t edible. A thick frozen patty. It’s good if you like that kind of thing, but we expected a different quality with how nice the restaurant is. I’d recommend decreasing menu size and specializing. Quality over quantity. Once again, very nice staff and nice restaurant- just some items that could be worked out for improvement.
