They are a little too used to having regulars. The way it is set up, in this shop anyway, is a bit confusing. No one is trying to make you feel welcome or help new customers. Coffee and baked goods were really good. The parking is limited too segmented. I'll try the downtown location before I come back to this one.

Purdy’s Coffee is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Richmond! The coffee is always excellent—rich, smooth, and made just right every time. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for meeting a friend, getting some work done, or just relaxing with a good drink. Their pastries and snacks are delicious too. The staff is super friendly and always makes you feel right at home. Such a great local gem!

Purdy’s is exceptional local establishment downtown Richmond with a whole community of supporters, even as far as eastern Kentucky. I’m from Pikeville and each time I’m in town i have to stop for at least one iced coffee per trip… sometimes two! I will also DoorDash drinks and lunch to others in Richmond while in Pikeville. They’re just that great! Their drinks are always unique and fresh and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Any coffee shop that i walk into and instantly smell the fresh aroma of coffee beans is going to be 🔥! I highly recommend Purdy’s… if you’re a small business supporter and coffee enthusiast, you can’t miss out!

Been here numerous times (usually drive thru), but have always had a good experience. The only complaint I've ever had is that the lattes are occasionally not hot enough for my preference. Sometimes I will ask them to microwave the cup, if so. My kids enjoy the food here as much as I do. They are always willing to adjust ingredients based on preference. I wish we could get Purdy's in the Richmond center (but then I'd probably stop by every time I left my house 😂) Love the people at Purdy's and appreciate how they give back to our community.

10/10! We got a Mango smoothie and White chocolate caramel mocha!! The large size comes with 4 shots of espresso. Very good consistency with the smoothie and very good flavor. Not too overpowering. The coffee was very good! Well balanced between sweet and the coffee bitter taste. The staff were very nice and made sure everything tasted good before we left!

This place is very high-brow and down right snobby. The coffee is pour over and expensive. Educationally I am at that wine and cheese level but I prefer simpler folk. A very good thing about this place is that it has lots of pretty single women who are well dress and have manners.
