Took my Son here for his birthday today. The server was great and very friendly. We got the egg rolls and the smoked wings as an appetizer and they were fantastic! My son ordered sliced brisket and I ordered the pick 3 meats and got pulled pork, jalapeño smoked sausage, and dry rub ribs. All of the meat was extremely dry. My sons brisket was so dry, there was no juice in the meat at all. Our two entrees were comped as we didnt eat them. Not sure we will return, food seems to be going down hill for me.
We ordered the half chicken and it did not disappoint. The skin was tight and crispy, while the meat inside was tender and juicy—exactly how BBQ chicken should be. The ribs were wonderful: flavorful, well-cooked, and satisfying. The sides really rounded out the meal—the mac & cheese was creamy and comforting, the pork beans had great depth and smokiness, and the cornbread was just right—soft, & balanced Overall, a solid BBQ meal with well-executed meats and classic sides done right.
Good bbq for a good price. One person in our group was diabetic and the waitress was very informative on what items did not contain sugar. Definitely recommend the place if you are in the area.
