This place has went downhill so bad since I was there a couple of years ago now everything is self service from ordering to getting refills on drinks no condiments on tables any more they are all by the drink dispenser which was very unclean to be polite I will not be revisiting this location sadly I sure hope other steak n shake locations don't follow through with this it's a shame a successful business is turning to these methods

My boyfriend and I came at 11 o’clock the night before Christmas Eve and these people were slammed. They were going a mile a minute and still had a smile on their faces. I swear this is not the first time that I have gone here and the staff were awesome each time I’ve been. They greeted us on arrival and wished us a merry Christmas before we left. I will come back because these employees made our experience so positive.

I typically love going to steak and shake and I’ve never made a bad review before but my husband and I came here since he really wanted it on my lunch break and we decided to get milkshakes after and I needed a box for my food. We both proceeded to stand at the front to ask for one and were looking for someone to help. We understood the workers on the line could not help but when managers are walking to the front and do not acknowledge when we are speaking to them and they proceed to walk away multiple times and keep looking at us and not helping it becomes an issue. I also was nearly late for lunch when I have an hour just due to how long it took for 2 milkshakes with 4 customers inside. I hate writing bad things but this was upsetting.

I walked in steak and shake after eating there to go to the bathroom. I have never seen a restaurant bathroom so clean. Also the workers were dressed in these uniforms that were so neat and clean, the way a worker should look in a restaurant! I love the food it's fixed fresh and hot and they know how to take a order. Some of these other restaurants could use all of these improvements!

I've been a fan of Steak N Shake for a long time, but in recent years there was a notable decrease in quality, quantity, and service. It's been like that everywhere, but I had noticed it here especially.
That said, in the past year or so, Steak N Shake has completely turned the ship around. The food is so, so much better! Large portions, fresh food, a very clean interior... it's gotta be the best fast food place in town. Prices are higher than pre-COVID, but not by a whole lot.
Do yourself a favor and dine-in. The burgers and fries really are best eaten fresh - a short ride home does diminish the flavor a bit.
Fast fresh efficient. It was a decent meal for the price.

Absolute TRASH owner. I made my order on the app. The app TOOK MY MONEY. The app crashed. I showed this to the employees. They contacted the owner and the owner said “it should refund” So when it didn’t refund. I obviously have no proof that I didn’t get my food…. They won’t replace the food. Mind you this is a $9 order. $9 to me was all I had to eat. After a very stressful day. $9 to them, nothing… selfish mean inconsiderate people. I have came here for multiple times a month over a year now. I’ll never ever be back. I’m disgusted on how they treated me. And I don’t mean to sound spoiled or entitled. I just think it’s insane to do this to anyone… screw this place.
