We showed up at 8:23pm. they were in the middle of taking the ingredients off the table. The cashier tried to get us to order our sandwiches at the register & when we asked if we could just build it as usual bc we like certain amounts of things she told us they were going to take it to the back & do it. They said it's easier to close like that. They don't even close for an hr & a half though... We just left. Between this & them constantly locking the lobby ford hours before close we will just go to the other subways from now on out. Whoever runs that place in the last few years really needs a course on actually running a store. Drive straight to the new subway on 52. Ingredients still on the table & the staff was super friendly & fast. They close at 20 as well and it was 9 by the time we decided to try that one. That completely solidified that we will never return to water street subway.

It is incredibly rare that I leave a bad review, and this is my usual subway, and i usually love it. But my experience tonight may keep me from going back.
I will say I normally order on the app, so I just put in what I want and pick it up, and all is good. But tonight the app was on the fritz, so i went in to order.
I don't hear well so communication was difficult. I was ordering 2 sandwiches, and wanted one as is, the other not. The gentleman waiting on me had asked several times about the as is sandwich, and I had stated, no really, just how it comes. I could tell I was annoying him in general, but I know when I cant hear someone it can be really frustrating for them.
If you havent been to this location, they now have a big metal piece that hides the meat and cheese area. I had never seen my sandwich leave that area. But, it had, and when they asked me about toppings I thought they were still working on the as is sandwich, and said just how it comes.
I was really confused when he started working on someone else's sandwich. I thought it was mine (it was an online order), and I clearly annoyed him. He ran down my order and was like we already made your order, do you need something else? With a I'm busy here tone, not a how can I help you tone.
Then we figured out that I had thought they had one sandwich when they had the other. I apologized many times, but i needed my sandwich made differently. I felt super bad because they couldnt even just add to the existing sandwich because my husband has food allergies, and it had to be remade.
I continue to apologize, the this gentleman continues to let me know that it is my fault. And he wasn't letting it go. Maybe he thought I just wasnt hearing or understanding him, but it was super embarrassing as he just continued to berate me and let me know I was the problem.
The two women working with him were super nice and super helpful, but I ended up just paying for the rest of the food and abandoning my dinner because he made me feel like crap.

We went to subway here in Richmond ky. I got 13 n my bf got 33 on the board. Got home after n ate half of them. The subs r good. We got full after eating half, saved The other half for later. N I got the Subway cookie, it's good to. Soft n chewy.

The Food was great no complaints at all they toasted the bread and everything just right and I usually always get the same thing when I go there which is either a 6 Inch or sometimes a foot long Italian Herbs and cheese bread toasted with Chicken Teriyaki, American Cheese with 2 slices of tomato and Sweet Onion Sauce... That's My Go to every single time. Lol Sometimes I will get the Foot Long Chocolate Chip Cookie to and they also warm that up as well and it just hits the spot forsure after eating. So you can't go wrong if your just looking for something quick and isn't to costly then you can't go wrong here and if you haven't tried My Go -To Sandwhich I'd suggest that you do because I promise once you get that and eat it you wont ever want to get anything else and that I promise you especially once you eat it with the Sweet Onion Sauce on it... So I'd you haven't tried it then I highly recommend that you do...
Vegetarian options: They have all your vegetables.
Every time I come to this location the people are rude as hell I just waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes no one came to take my order so I came in and they are acting like it is the worst thing ever they are having to wait on someone I was gonna spend a bout $100 but I believe I’ll go else where
